Happy WOYWW once more lovely deskers. Head to Sarah's for the link and all the details - come share your crafty spaces!
This week seems me hit qualifying for state pension... not sure how the hell that happened! Unlike Sarah however I haven't decided to stop working (although it's tempting sometimes!) but tomorrow, 66 it is.
So, of course, I had to treat myself - luckily Dina brought out some new goodies last week!
they turned up on Tuesday (well, would have been Saturday but the office is closed so RM couldn't deliver, and the parcel turned up at work Monday shortly after I left for home...)there wasn't a lot of crafting at the weekend, it was a bit hot (and my electric fan broke, the casing fell to pieces (I really shouldn't have stored it on a window sill in full sun - or the cold come to that!)
but, layers of colour in the ledger journal.
the white stencilling is paint - turns out my Dina white paint (original bottle) had set solid and it was like spreading chocolate spread... I had been having trouble squeezing it out of the bottle, and thinking it was nearly empty, cut the bottle open, to find a lump of paint! I found a little container to transfer it to as I don't intend to throw it away!
oops!

Happy birthday lovely gal! Have a great week. I love your crafty fun but don't these electric gadgets let us down when we need them - my iron packed up and blew the trip yesterday, just when I needed it! I love your latest activities x x Jo 🌈

Happy Birthday Helen, had forgotten we were both June girls, I'm Friday and can give you a couple of years! That letter is very sobering when it arrives.

I had no ideda you were nearing pension age - happy birthday for tomorrow Helen. I don't blame you for carrying on working, you have a great workplace and think of the crafting and how it would suffer.
Love the pages, especially the one with the white paint on - shame about the bottle, glad you were able to decant.
Hugbs, Neet 9 xx (singing) Happy Birthday To You
Yeah my experience with Range stuff is the same - whether it's gloss sprays clogging or Distress Sains going bad, or those sponge tip paints going dry, it always seems they rush to market then try to fix the problem later or eventually come out with different packaging. Annoying for sure, but the page is starting out good. Bet Kew was HOT for sure! Happy Knitting Day WOYWW

Happy Birthday tomorrow lovely gal! Hope you’ll have a lovely day xx Those scribble sticks looks fun but what are they? Pastels or crayons or felts? It’s hard to see, hope you’ll enjoy using them anyway!
Hugs LLJ 2 xx
Ah looks like you get 66yrs like hubby got, I think mine has been put back to 67yrs, although my private pension made me take the opted out part last year when I was 60yrs! Happy Birthday for tomorrow, great that you could get some new goodies, although I'd be surprised if you couldn't lol. I'd have saved the paint too one way or another. I found an old gold glitter tube of my son's and had to excavate that, spread it on a sheet and have used on lots of projects since. Think you ought to treat yourself to a new fan mind! No wonder you were envious of my AC unit. Got it on Amazon a few months ago and they are out of stock now - surprise surprise, so is my fan. Hugs BJ#5
I do enjoy your trips to Kew. Have a lovely birthday. I’ve got my 70th coming up in August but the celebrations have started already. We are off to Haworth in Yorkshire on Friday for the weekend. A treat from friends. Will report back next week.
