Who can believe it's time for WOYWW again already? Work is crazy-busy and the days fly by... and it's Wednesday again!

Well, you all know me so well.. I caved in at the weekend and ordered some of the new Paperartsy bits...I was watching the football and Liverpool losing the cup final so needed cheering up... sadly the mail hasn't arrived yet so you'll have to wait to see what I bought for next week!
I did make a birthday card though for Kirsty at work, it's her birthday at the end of the month (go me, really early!)
took a piece of patterned paper and added some stamping and a Tim Holtz paper doll and a piece of cheesecloth.
I am determined to use up stuff so this was a good start!
Had intended to do some more work to the "birdy" journal page but that didn't happen.
my Kew buddy Kim and I had sunshine at Kew last weekend, though it was cold...
the sunny week had been kind to the magnolias
and so was some of the blossom.
Looking forward to seeing what's changed by this weekend (except it might be wet...)

I absolutely love that card. She is a lucky lady.
I knew you would cave in, but your reasoning made me smile. In the past I have been known to buy myself something, like a new pair of shoes, for a visit to the dentists. Nothing like a good cheer you up present!

Ah Spring! It feels so close now.... Lovely card - I have seen a preview of an Alison Bomber class in FS that I am just dying to do. Love her style.

Hi Helen, it's lovely and sunny here today. It's also very peaceful here too as the dogs have gone for their haircut. I love the card you've made for your friend and I can see you're on the 'Use it or Lose it' theme too which makes me smile that it's not just me that needs to get sorted we can't keep all this stuff and buy more, it's scary! Such a pretty card. Your Kew photos were gorgeous with all the magnolia and glowering cherries. The new visitor to the orchid collection was interesting, too. I hope you have warmer weather this weekend.

Lovely card for Kirsty, also some text from one of my favourite pieces. Using up stuff...hmm, I feel in some cases that I'm winning, then I open another box and wonder why I thought that! But I am determined and it's rather nice revisiting some rather old stuff! The magnolias always make me swoon, I'll take cold and bright over dull anyway, but particularly when you're at Kew!

ooh nice card and great stash useup especially with the cloth on the card. The blossoms are slowly starting and its amazing to see. So love your Kew photos, I need to come down again as it was amazing seeing it with a "local"s eyes.

Can't wait to see what you've got, my favourite enabler. Very pretty card, but I must be hungry, I read cheesecake in that description. Stopped me in my tracks. Haven't noticed any magnolia yet but haven't been out and about anywhere nice. Lots of blossom though!!
