WOYWW 709

Morning deskers,  welcome to 2023!   Another Wednesday, another WOYWW

I spent a bit of time at the weekend crafting!  Proper crafting although it turned out a muddy mess

it's a canvas, 9x12 approx (inches)
the background images amongst texture were from a Kew paper bag but
they ended up obliterated
I wish I knew how to stack photos side by side!
finished canvas,  still muddier than I wanted!

then I took to a journal

this is a work in progress

and just to start the year off, I bought new goodies!

ordered one day, delivered the next - all the way from Scotland (Stampers Grove) to Surrey  - not bad going!  I wasn't expecting them for several days given the post disruptions.

Kew was a damp visit on Saturday and light on photos but had a good walk nonetheless

i think this weekend will be wetter unless the forecast has changed.

Thanks for looking, have a good day, and I'll see you soon.

James is fantastic at deliveries, and such a lovely guy too. Well worth patronising.
Love the 'great things' journal page and had a smile at the photo stacking - if you find out will you teach me also.
Happy New Year Helen

Happy New Year Helen, and I love your canvas! I had a canvas 'ready to go' but am anxious to start... I never ever work on a (big) canvas so it's going to be a challenge! I love your bright art journal spread too, great colours! Love from Holland, Marit #11

Great canvas, love all the colours and I bet it is much prettier IRL
We have a windy day here and no rain for a change, but still too cold for me.
Take care

Bet that canvas looks better IRL. Nice goodies, I have a voucher to spend at SG and just can't choose. I too wish I could control the photos on my blog - it used to be much easier but its probably my ancient pc not being up to code or something. Happy New Year, love n hugs Cindyxx #11

The weekend forecast for this neck of the woods is more and more rain, it’s really starting to feel biblical! Despite obliterating the Kew images, I like the canvas, especially it’s message. And the journal, page, those dots of colour are lovely, just up my street. The stencils are gorgeous, particularly the seed heads, I shall look forward to seeing them on your pages as some point!

I used to manage to get photos next to each other, but sadly no more! If by chance they do manage it, one doesn't appear bigger when clicked on, it's as if it isn't there at all despite being on the main page.
Glad you showed the stages of your Kew bag as I'd never have known - LOL. Love the end though, it's lovely. Love the new stencils need to go have a look... Hugs BJ#14

Looks like you have been busy! I wish I agreed - from the depths of Covid and still unable to smell or taste I am not feeling it :) Also, better a damp Kew than a freezing cold one!
HAPPY NEW YEAR and (late) HAPPY WOYWW! May it be a great one for us all.
