WOYWW 704

Welcome deskers for another WOYWW . Yet another week has flown by and it's the end of November.. Not sure how that happened!

I've still been trying to batch make Christmas cards for speed..

I dug out some old favourites last weekend - grumpy penguins,  and a snowman for a bit of festive fun.

I decided most of the cards needed a bit of bling..

so dug out some sparkly glitter glue.  I found 3 different bottles, 2 of which actually let me release some of the contents onto cards.
and then had to find flat surfaces to let them dry....

you know they say you shouldn't touch it to check it's dry...

I've still got loads to glitter.  (and loads more to make)

We'll finish as always, at Kew.

there was blue sky
and colourful salvias

Thanks for dropping by,  I will catch you and your crafty spaces as soon as I can.

I had a similar problem with glue - Glossy Accents - but managed to salvage the card.
Right, only got up because I remembered it's Wednesday and I hadn't done my blog so off back to bed now for a bit more "shut eye".
Hugs, Neet (right behind you) xx

Fabulous Christmas cards, I particularly like the half swirly ones, nice to see the sparkle. What is the sphere you are holding? Those salvias are a lovely shade of purple. Happy WOYWW. Angela #7

I'm with you on the batch making for Christmas cards it just has to be done. I was lookingh at the penguins only the other day they are so sweet. I like using stickles glitter glue but you do have to find somewhere for everything to stay safely while they dry and I have been known to touch it by mistake Hee! Hee! Have a fun woyww whatever you are up to, hugs Angela x10x

I think we’re all making cards madly and getting glitter glue frustrations as well! Now the challenge is to get the cards posted early because there’s about 7 days of strikes! Lovely pics from Kew especially the sphere!

Glad to hear it's not just me with the bling being hard to use. Time flies by and some things just don't get used. Cute cards, have fun finishing them .
Pretty color for the salvias, we had snow so things are pretty much gone outdoors. ENJOY

Oh I love those grumpy penguins, don't think I've seen them before!! I share your frustration with the glitter glue and then having to festoon the whole place with drying cards. I have learnt to go and leave them on my bed as if I put them down in the craft room 99:1 I will immediately proceed to dump something on top. Kew beautiful as always but I suspect it's starting to get a bit chillier!! Have a good week, love n hugs Cindyxx #14

Oh yes, Christmas cards definitely need some bling! Tell me about touching things to see if they are dry LOL - I can never help myself! Nice to see that there are still some flowers in bloom at Kews - a reminder of summer! Enjoy your December, Helen and see you next time! xx

No card making for me this year, too expensive to post to the UK and find people here aren't buying them because of the cost. So no glitter anywhere to be seen. Love the grumpy penguins. Ani

Wow, it's all systems go round at yours! Great cards in process. I do love those grumpy penguins.

That salvia is gorgeous (I've got lavender still flowering - not to mention bacopa and million bells in the window boxes - despite snow and nighttime temperatures of -5C and dropping!). Hope to catch up with Kew shortly... that crystal ball will definitely tempt me over.

Nothing like a bit of glitter on your cards is there. I got out my Tim Holtz Distress Picket Fence Glitter the other day and it is decidedly crunchy now! Love your ball photo. Hugs BJ#18

Oh the drying time and the need to not touch and the need to keep them spread out, it all drives this untidy person a bit nutty! I note too that we are both ‘digging out’ old favourites this year, it seems that I finally have stamps to cover every Christmas theme and don’t feel the need to look at any more variants! Blue sky at Kew looks good in that glass orb, how clever a thing that is!

Oh I love the snowman and the slightly disgruntled penguins! What great cards. And is that you holding the orb? Beautiful photo. Purple is my fave so thanks for the bright flowers too :)
Ridiculously late for WOYWW but here I am…

Hi Helen. Thanks for the visit! Great to see you. What a unique view of Kew. I watched an Oak Island episode recently where they guys paid a visit to Kew and I'm like - I know where that's at! LOL. Thank you for taking us along. Creative Blessings! Kelly #20
