WOYWW 634

Another week has flown by and it is once more time to hang out at Julia's for WOYWW

Once more I have a very unproductive floor space to share... I've been working on a birthday card that I can't share yet

but here's a teeny sneak peak!

and a look at a journal page worked from last week's Dina Wakley supporter video session starting on the horizontal line...

to create a horizon line.  which she developed into a loose landscape

I've more or less copied the basics of what she did, just to get my eye in as it were.

to finish with, the "desk" shot - taken from the sofa!

the foreground is filled with some of the journals I'm currently working in!

As always I'll finish with the link for Kew from Saturday

Just before I go I'd like to wish Jan a hugely happy birthday for Sunday - hope you have a fabulous day and are spoiled rotten.

to the rest of you - happy WOYWW!

I love you desk shot! Such goodies. And the landscape looks great to me. I keep saying one day I’ll get subscribed to those extra videos and never manage it. Oh well. Enjoy the cooler weather and Happy Woyww!

Great view of the desk Helen, you might be using the floor and people might think that’s all a bit erratic, but look at the organised storage! Sight for sore eyes I can tell you! Am liking the sneak peek, super impressed that you aren’t telling us about pushing deadlines, even the lonely ATC I made was to meet a deadline!Am taking iPad to Mum’s today, it occurred to me that if she’s awake she may like to look at your Kew pictures too, a nice change to me reading articles from the paper or Sally and I debating which one of us is her favourite!!😂😂😂

A rare glimpse of your "desk" Helen! I have my floor covered too, but apart from die-cutting, which I tend to do on the floor, I would miss not having a work surface. How on earth do you manage? Love the dreamy landscape and thanks for the heads-up about Jan's birthday! Have a lovely week xx zsuzsa #16

I love the beginning of your card, Helen, with its subtle colours, and as always, your journal pages are so lovely. The landscape is beautiful. Enjoy the videos!

Thank you for your visit and your kind words about my treatment. I've more or less decided to refuse chemo whatever they say, unless I'm in imminent danger of death without it, which is very unlikely given my other results. I really don't want to go through that again as it made me feel more ill than I'd ever felt in my life and I still have ongoing effects, 6 years on. Anyway, we'll see what he says on 11th.

I'm having great fun with the ToDo. I did some die cutting this afternoon with excellent results. I also cut some mats to go with the card bases I cut last week - the job took half the time with my fabulous new guillotine than it would have taken with the Fiskars trimmer. I hope you manage to find a decent one too, which meets your creative needs.

Happy WOYWW,

Hi Helen, I like your Dina Wakely piece ... Looks like a Tuscan landscape. And the 'desk' shot is revealing - there's clear floor space in the background! Room for more goodies. I'm enjoying your trips to Kew again albeit from a distance. Have a great week. Hugs Elizabeth x #22
