Are you here again, already?! Welcome, then for another WOYWW - desk sharing day. Julia has all the details .
didn't remember till after dark to take any photos so had to use the flash.as you can see, piles of stuff surround my working space on the floor....
Most of the weekend was taken up with either Kew or sport so there wasn't a lot of time for crafting!

It was a good weekend for sport Helen, just a pity about the final result and more so the disgusting fall out. Stay safe and Happy WOYWW. Sarah #3
I really am feeling like art journaling but like you I have soo much taking up my time! I don’t think that page is a lost cause yet. When in doubt add more white...or black lol! I quite like the Just Look one. Ah sport. I got forced into watching the footie! Shame about the results but maybe next time. Kew looks lovely as ever and your floor about as busy as always. A study in contrast lol!
Have a great day desk hopping,
Mary Anne
Morning Helen! Yes the weekend was very 'sporty', such a shame about the football. Once agan I am looking at your crafting space and wondering how on earth you do it on the floor - I had to get down to look for something that had rolled under the bed the other day and hadn't made a plan to get up again. I was there some time. Happy WOYWW, stay well, stay safe, love n hugs Cindy xx #8
Morning Helen, yes what a busy weekend that was. I'm sure you will create something lovely with the page you are unhappy with. There's plenty of those in my studio. Fingers crossed the weekend to come is as weather worthy as they have promised. Catch up with you later. Don't work too hard.
Happy WoywW Hugs Tracey xx
Hi Helen. Sounds like a good weekend. No worries about the journal page, it's only paper and like you say you can always paint over it. Have a lovely woyww. Hugs, Angela x16x
Happy WOYWW. Perhaps print out some of your lovely photos from Kew and use them on the journal page? I would love to be able to walk around Kew - haven't been there for years (think it was 2014). We have an old rosebush by our front door (was planted a few generations ago - and refuses to die how ever often it is cut right back - has got more flowers on it this year than I have ever seen before), which smells beautiful. This post came up so looks like the problem is fixed. I am imagine the smell of the pink Roses, I have one on the garden very similar which smells beautiful, a really old variety called Albertine, it's from a cutting taken from Dad's garden so has a special meaning to me.

It doesn't hurt to just take time out and watch telly . . . unless it's sport . . in which case I know you had some great adrenaline rushes!!
Have a good week

I do understand the excitement about football but what about Mark Cavendish who has equalled Eddie Mercx’s all time number of stage wins on the Tour de France? If he wins one more, he’ll hold the record which may never be surpassed - and nothing about it on the news.
Those roses are amazing, that’s a gorgeous pic and I can smell them from here, lol!

I was hoping for a photo or two of you at Wimbledon - bosses treat of course. I remember you going in the past.
Lovely roses, wish I could smell them as they look very fragranced.
Hugs, Neet 5 xx
I absolutely love the smell of roses, my neighbour has a very fragrant bush and I have to smell as many flowers as I can when I pass. Must look most odd! Happy WOYWW Angela #7
I think your pages look great Helen, and I particularly love the one you said was turning into a mess - I love the sunset colours mixed with the text! It was a very sporty weekend wasn't it - I didn't watch the football but I did enjoy watching the rather lovely Matteo Berrettini at Wimbledon - shame he lost!
Hope you have a great week,
Diana xx #19
I thought about you a lot over the weekend, all the sport, it was a fast wasn’t it! Your Kew pics are as usual, quite lovely. I can only imagine the scent of those roses. I visited a friend on Monday and despite drizzle had a tour of her garden, the first thing as you step out the door is a twenty year old climbing rose that has a scent that made me swoon. It’s really an incredible thing isn’t it, that nature! I’m liking the two pages on show, the one with the washi tape isn’t a mess, it just needs you to walk around it a bit and see what else it wants. It would grip me to paint over it after all the stuff you’ve already used on it…which is prolly why I’m rubbish at mixing my media!
This was the week from hell, Helen. My body just shut down over the weekend and I didn't even turn on the computer until Sunday afternoon. I saw you had been to Kew and the kids will be on me for not visiting, but I just didn't have it in me. Seems it was a weekend for sports/ So sad at the end of the soccer match.
You created more art over the weekend than I. That Just Look page was great. I trust you will figure a way to make the adjoining page to your liking. Happy WOYWW from # 6. I'll check out Kew another day, since today is filled with lots of running around town.
I love the inky play going on there! And the roses look so beautiful! I can actually smell them from here! Have fun, Helen! xx zsuzsa #24
Aw don't paint over it - all your pages are lovely - each one has it's own qualities! Those roses look lovely - we have one beauty in our garden that smells lovely too. xx Jo
Good morning, Helen!
Lovely roses. As to the journal page... Nora Roberts has a saying (paraphrasing) about 'not fixing what isn't written'. Had you not started that page, you wouldn't have known what you did or didn't like about the piece. Do what speaks to you. Crafting will resume, I'm sure. Creative Blessings! Kelly #25
Hi Helen, I love how abundant those blooms are, they look so fabulous :) ~Stacy #27
Thanks for the visit, Oh the roses are delightful. Enjoy a great weekend, we have a no wind storm passing thru, dark as night and heavy rain, but it is much needed. Happy WOYWW day
Such gorgeous roses! I don't blame you for spending as much time as you can amid such loveliness!
Have a great weekend!

Hi Helen, such gorgeous rose photos, you can scent them off the page
Thanks for your good wishes

Sorry you are struggling with that page, Helen, but you know what they say - with mixed media there are no mistakes, just more layers! Knowing you, I am sure you will be able to rescue it and transform it into something stunning. Thank you for your visit and your good wishes. I am continuing to do very well post-op but my generous hubby has shared his awful throat bug with me so I'm feeling pretty lousy today. I've made great progress on the Pakistani card which is nearly complete. I love the vibrant colours, and today I've added lots of shimmer and sparkle.
Happy belated WOYWW,

I like the look of that page...
Happy WOYWW!
Stay safe and keep well!

Loved your KEW updates and like you said the early time slot is brilliant, I bet those roses smell divine too

I agree, don't paint over it, it'll get better with age! Lovely pictures again, over on Kew. Sorry I'm so late, dog/s and cat/s sitting! Stay safe Happy Very Late WOYWW!? ((Lyn))
