WOYWW 597

Morning deskers, we find ourselves at Wednesday once again  and time for another WOYWW  - check the details  here

I still haven't ordered the crackle paste so there is no enabling this week and precious little else either...

A journal page with some of the new Dina Wakley stamps but nothing to write home about.

No Kew last week (as you probably knew from the lack of facebook posts!)  I decided that as we are meant to be staying at home and not taking unessential travel (even the relatively short journey to Kew)  I would play by the rules.  So let's hope it really is only for 4 weeks till the beginning of December and I can visit again.  (although of course the first Saturday in December is our zoom crop - still have to download the app and test it!)

So, there we are,  short and sweet !  Happy WOYWW  and I'll come visit your desks soon

Great page! I managed to revive two of four dried crackle paste bottles, and one turned out to be ok (the clear rick candy one) so I avoided being lured into your trap! Haven’t used it but did test and they work! Yay. Sorry you issued out on Kew but hopefully it will be back in your schedule soon.
Happy Woyww!

Now that's a HUGE statement on you journal page Helen and I love it!! No buying for me at the moment as everything seems to be held up with deliveries and limited staffing via Royal mail, so i'm holding onto my pennies. Keep yourself busy making beautiful pages & here's hoping you'll be soon able to visit Kew asap. Happy WoywW Tracey #8 xx Take care.

I am terrible at the moment for buying things but I keep forgetting to show my purchases.
Can't get over you not going to Kew - that is a real sacrifice.

Hi Helen. Well done on observing the rules. So many not doing so! I appreciate ( on behalf of my son) those who do. Let us hope there will be some relaxation of rules come Dec. Anne x 12

The quote is brilliant and should be used nationally to remind the idiots flouting Covid rules that we’re all in it together! The whole LO just works. I know you’re missing Kew but it really won’t be long and when you go back, it’ll be the Christmas run up, which will be fab!

Very wise to stay at home Helen-your page shows the sentiment exactly. We’ve been confined to our home area for many weeks now as our FM had asked us not to travel outwith our healthboard area and we haven’t. Stay safe.

Love the quote and the bold visual statement of your page! This doesn't feel like the first lockdown to me. I walked to the town on Monday under the pretence of getting some "essentials" - it felt just like any other day - not too busy as it was during school time but it wasn't deserted at all. Still, I like the flexibility of working from home and would love to continue if it was an option! Hope to see you on Zoom! xx zsuzsa #21

Hi Helen, the page is fabulous - I love the background, there's so much going on and great colours, and I love the quote too - very appropriate for the times we are going through. I hope you soon get to Kew, but you are definitely doing the right thing by keeping yourself safe at home - with the speed at which Wednesday's come round each week Kew will soon be on the agenda again!
Have a good week, stay safe and well,

Hi Helen, thanks for your earlier visit. I love your layout. The comment is so apt for now. It’s a shame you’ve had to forego Kew for the present,, but you’re right.
We’ll look forward to seeing it again through your photos once we’ve got past this Lock-in.
Take care, stay safe and happy WOYWW

Hi Helen, well done for staying at home, Kew can wait. I've just found out that a couple were stopped by police in Lincon city who had arrived from another county they were not pleased to say the least and gave them a summons for breaking the Lockdown law. Take care and have a lovely creative woyww, Angela x15x

That's a lovely page, Helen, and a great quote too. I love how you layer your pages - beautiful! Sorry you have missed out on your weekly Kew visit. It must be looking lovely at the moment. Thank you for your visit and for your kind words and virtual hug re my bro in law - we are really going to miss him. I'm gradually working through my various appointments but still nothing from Exeter and I despair of ever getting my operation now. Beatrice was truly brilliant on the computer lol! I told her she should start a computer course for cats. The roots from the guttering were truly impressive, weren't they! I was amazed.

Happy WOYWW,

HI Helen, sorry for the late visit. Your journal page is fabulous and speaks volumes about what we're all going through at the moment. So frustrating but at least we have our crafting and the weather is mostly good for local walks, the colours are incredible at the moment aren't they? Have a good week. Annie C

Hi Helen! Right you were about the DeNami stamp! Thanks - I relabeled it on my blog. I was thinking it was HA, but it wasn't. Your page is looking good, great sentiment. Too bad you can't go to Kew but good for you for helping everyone stay safe. Hopefully everyone will follow suit and Christmas will be something to look forward to. Here we are very unsure as cases are rising daily, more so where my DD is living, so Christmas is up in the air unless more people pay attention. Thanks for your visit, stay safe, Lindart #31

Hi Helen, I have my fingers crossed that things will slow down enough on the virus front to allow people to be out and about soon again. We are planning to stay home here for the up coming holidays and that is of course not so fun, so I have been doing lots of online shopping to compensate and may have loot shots to share next week lol. Hang in there, ~Stacy #30

Sorry I’m late. Am going to publish details about the crop soon...it will be in different times across the day so if a lockdown is lifted, you may well be able to do crop and Kew! You’ll see what I mean when I can get the post together. Meanwhile, how can you say there’s nothing to write home about when that page is perfectly fab! Love the multiple faces, and of course, even if it was a bit subliminal, the message is bang on.

I love this page Helen! I've also got a bit of Dina love going on, and think I'm needing more stamps and stencils! I had good look through your blog a couple of weeks ago, wrote a quite long comment so that you wouldn't be going way back yourself, pressed publish and the whole darn comment disappeared! Not a clue where it went but didn't have the heart to try again! I've love the pages you have been making with your new goodies. Sorry that the Kew visits are off. We justified a trip in the car to Tatton the other day as there is no where safe around here. The main shopping road in the village is as busy as ever and we have stopped walking by the river as that seemed to be dog walkers heaven! I'm off to look at your Kew pics now and will leave a comment on the last post! Hugs, Chrisxx
