WOYWW 583

so, new blogger has landed on my browser and is insisting on being used today! I did toy with going back to legacy blogger but as it says it will only be available till later this month, seems no point...

anyway, it's Wednesday, and that means only one thing.   It's nosy day... WOYWW  with Julia and friends... time to share our crafty spaces.
my goodies arrived!

you know I can't resist JoFY stamps and stencils and a last release before Paperartsy relocate to France, wasn't to be missed!

I haven't had time to play with them yet, they have at least made it into the index binder

I have had to buy some more storage boxes for my Paperartsy stamp sets

I like to keep them sorted (in stamp set number order of course) by designer so I can easily find the ones I want... but the boxes are getting a bit full so when I was out on Sunday I went into the Works and bought some more..

this time they had Peter Rabbit designs and I got two for £10 -you can see the pile behind them -
you can see the "overflow" on top of the stack of 4 that are already pretty full

I will hopefully get them organised next week - I am off work for a week's holiday - nothing planned, just a break from the office; and the boxes will need re-organising with the contents.

hopefully I will be able to share them next week!

well the new blogger seems to be fairly easy to use, I appear to have re-sized and placed the photos and scheduled the post... let's see what happens when I hit publish!! I have pre-viewed it and it all looks pretty similar to previous posts!

I look forward to visiting your desks tomorrow and seeing what you've been up to!

I nearly forgot to link last week's trip to Kew- it's here as usual

If we had a Works nearby I’d go and get those Peter Rabbit boxes they’re so lovely.
Well no I probably wouldn’t as I won’t go into town yet until things get more settled. I’ll have a look online.
Thanks Helen for showing us. Enjoy your week off work. Hope the weather is kind to you.

Hi Helen, pleased you're finding the new Blogger interface is behaving, I'll go back and have another go with it as I'm still on the old one. Nice stencils and I'd love to see how you use the stamps as I've seen some nice projects using them. Back later for a look at the photos. Have a lovely woyww, Angela x10x

Hi Helen. Lovely stash and great boxes, I do like Peter Rabbit lol.
I had used new Blogger then reverted back after losing my first post. That was probably due to me being inept though!
Take care. Anne x 15

Gorgeous stamps and beautiful inspiration colouring on the packaging. I just find them a tad expensive though but must admit I am tempted by the one on the left. But then I do like the other one too. Oh Helen, I have spent up this month and now you are tempting me.
Enjoy your week off - plans to visit Kew mid week?
Hugs, Neet 14 xx

Do enjoy your stamp sorting - it can be very therapeutic sometimes, to organise your goodies, can't it? Especially with such pretty boxes and everyone else lamenting their mess! Have a beautiful week!

I tackled new blogger too today. Doesn't seem to bad once you find out where things are does it.
I love your new stamps, especially the flowers in the curve, that's really lovely. Have fun organising. A week off takes on new meaning these days doesn't it when we are at home to start with.
Love that waterlilly, the leaf is stunning.
Have fun and enjoy your week

I'm off work this week too but still checking emails and doing bits and pieces - thing is nobody else will do my job while I'm off and I don't want to be overwhelmed when I'm back next week - but at least I don't need to feel obliged to work all day LOL. Lovely goodies - how I would love to rummage through those boxes - I bet there's some hidden treasure there! Yeah, new blogger is not that bad once you know where things are but I was able to find things with my eyes closed on the old one and this will take some getting used to! I figured I might as well start now as they're getting rid of the old one at the end of the month, leaving us with no choice. Happy WOYWW! xx zsuzsa #11

Love the new stash, don’t use many stencils but particularly these two would be useful! Didn’t know that PA we’re relocating, good for them. Must be hard to move a life and a business, yikes. I don’t think the new blogger has changed too much, just icons that drive me mad and for me, the ever present problem with blogger and iPad. Am perfectly sure we’ll all middle through!

Well done with New blogger - I haven't quite mastered it yet but I'm getting there. Isn't that water lily a stunner! xx Jo

Lovely new stash, Helen, and I'm glad you are mostly getting on OK with the new Blogger. The Kew photo is lovely. I've got a desktop wallpaper picture that comes up periodically with these astonishing waterlilies which are so strange that they hardly look natural!

Thank you for your visit, and I'm glad you like my tiny carpets. The kitties are actually very entertaining even when they are trying not to be lol! You are right about the Newton Abbot hospital situation being a pain, but at least I don't have to go through all that now, which is a huge relief. I'm glad you are enjoying the weekly fashion shows too!

Happy belated WOYWW,

Reorganising the craft boxes doesn't sound like much of a holiday to me... but whatever floats your boat!! Fabulous additions to the stash - I do love that JOFY seedpod stem. Looking forward to seeing them in action.

My issue with New Blogger is that whenever I've tried it, I can't do my left and right photo positioning. And I also object to all the icons. Why should I have to learn what they all mean when I already understood all the old ones? Also what's with all the stupid photos in the Post list? Takes up far more room, I have to scroll much further to find things. And the Stats page drives me mad. Again - pages and pages to see the same information which fitted on one screen before. I hate hate hate hate hate it. It may well be the end of blogging for me. Hate hate hate. I will stick to Legacy until the absolute last moment. Sigh.

Oh don't talk to me about new blogger, I had to use it on my tablet as I couldn't see the legacy button on there at all. Moving the photos was a nightmare, well in the end I deleted (and that took a while to work out how to do) and replaced. Back on PC today, got an engineer earlier (yesterday) but it was fixed by magic in the morning and he was due in the afternoon! There has been a further internal ip address conflict problem which hubby has finally got the the bottom of this afternoon so I seem to be up and running. Add to that I have found a way to see What's App on my PC I'm a happy bunny and a bit chatty - sorry! What's Sutton like then, shop wise, I assume you popped into The Works there. I've managed Asda the past couple of weeks but have a consultant appointment on Tuesday about my shoulder so doing as little mixing as possible. Anyway, love your boxes and stash and gorgeous lily pad. BJ#12
