WOYWW 557

Welcome back for another Wednesday Workdesk fun, with Julia at the Stamping-Ground and the gang

as promised last week I did use part of one of the masterboards for a friend's birthday card

Eagle eyed viewers will spot new stuff!

I have my eyes on some new Paperartsy stamps too, just waiting for them to hit the stores...

but those bunny dies are the best... well, they're called bunnies but I would have said due to the length of the ears, they should probably be hares... what say you LLJ?

anyhow, as you see from the card, I put them straight to use.

Kew last Saturday was fab - my cousin joined me and sent me these couple of photos that didn't make it to the blog review (here)
at the gate waiting to go in, under "my" crown...

properly laden down - it's hot in there so I gave in and took my coat off

the floor was wet, otherwise I'd have put my bag and coat down....
getting close ups!

off there again this weekend of course, the orchid display opens properly - they've learnt from their mistakes of previous years when it was badly overcrowded and you now need to book a timeslot before going, to control numbers inside the glass house.

I'll be along to see what you've been creating soon.  Happy Desk Day!

I was writing this listening to the replay of the cup match between Liverpool and Shrewsbury.  Annie and Jo's men-folk won't be happy at the result, but I am! sorry girls!!

LOVE the bunnies, but they look like hares to me, too. Love your hair style and color. I think it's either darker than before or maybe just the lighting. Not playing, so no number. Just stopping by to say hi.

The youngsters certainly did well for LFC Helen. Love the bunnies. I was tempted by them myself. Happy WOYWW. Sarah #?

Whether you bought a 'drove' or a 'fluffle' doesn't matter, they look good and I bet that is a very popular die set. Nice shop - and card!
Do owe now refer to you as HRHH?
Have a good week,
Hugs, Neet 1 xx

Well your cousin’s photos are illuminating! Loving the hairstyle Miss Helen, very much, and of course it’s your crown...just as I think of Kew as yours! I agree about the Hare rabbits, but either way, aren’t they good, and just cut too, they don’t need much additional anything to make them what they are. Result!

I think you're right about the dies, they do look like hares. I have a set and was quite surprised just how big they are. Sadly I have to admit that I haven't used them yet as I have had other things to do. Nice pic of you too, love the crown! Wishing you a happy crafty woyww, Angela x12x

Hi Helen, I too agree they look more like hares than rabbits, but fun anyway
Those orchids look special too, wish I could get to Kew, but a long way for us to go, keep sharing the pictures, I can enjoy it through those.

I do love the pic of you with your crown! it suits you!

Those bunnies are very cute and I can't comment on if they should be hares... I had a bunny and his ears were quite long! Ive never met a hare... great card though either way!

Definitely hares, Helen. Gorgeous! Lovely to see Queen Helen of Kew as well - the crown definitely fits you! Love your hair. The flowers are so stunning... It must be marvellous to have Kew so close that you can visit on a regular basis. Thank you for your visit - several people on here have said that they've had their Tombows for years and they still work, so maybe you need to give yours an airing again. Until I did my research I had no idea a tummy tuck was such a big thing - somehow one assumes that plastic surgery is minor (I suppose because so many people opt to have it when it's not necessary medically, but just for appearance). In my case, if it does the trick and puts an end to all this hernia hassle I've had over the past few years, then so be it, and I am sure I'll be fine eventually!

Happy WOYWW,

Those dancing bunnies make me smile every time I see them - they look great on the sunshine colours of your masterboard. I can't really see how they would fit in to my crafting style, but I'll confess I'm tempted nonetheless. Fabulous new Courtney stamps there - not sure I've seen those ones - and great to see the photographer in action at Kew!
