WOYWW 521

Well that was a fun anniversary last week and here we are, starting the next decade of desk hopping for What's On Your Workdesk? Wednesday... and the countdown to the crop this weekend .. cannot wait!

I've already received some atcs, including from my PIF partner, the lovely Dolores (Cardarian)

together with a gorgeous card too!

I arranged some swaps with some deskers who can't make the crop, which have also arrived - firstly from Angela (Felix theCrafty Cat)

and Zsuzsa who also enclosed some beautiful flower printables.

the big reveal - my rest of my atcs I'll be taking to crop for everyone

there's also a little message on the back

I went down a time theme - it being Whizzday of course - and friendship, because that is what we all are.  and just varied the colours a bit and the clock stamps which both came from new Paperartsy sets I was dying to try out!

Over the weekend I started gathering things that I thought I would take to crop, there is already a big pile!   You just know I'll take far more than I will use and want the very thing I don't pack!

Not sure if I will take the Oxide sprays (in case of leakage) although they should be fine,  but...
it will be ok if I put the in the case so they stand upright when the case is upright!
I do seem to use them more than anything lately, so it is probably best I do..

the most important bit - the train tickets - are on top of the pile!
Looking forward to visiting your desks and then some of you on Saturday!  For those of you wanting your Kew fix, last week's instalment is here   - Crop day will be the first Saturday I have not been to Kew since July last year!!

Gosh, you have received a lot of great ATCs. I only made ones for Julia, my PIF, and a few for the crop. Be sure to grab one, dear. LOVE what you made and all the brilliant ways people interpreted the 10th anniversary theme.

No number yet, don't even have my post finished, but you will find me, I'm sure! I suspect I'll be somewhere after you, dear.

Lovely atc's Helen, both received and ready for giving out.
Had a smile when I saw your pile of stuff to take with you to the Crop. Do you really plan on crafting in earnest? I know darned well I will spend my time chatting to everyone so will probably not take much and certainly not do much. See you Saturday - looking forward to it, it's been a long time since that day at Port Sunny.
Hugs, Neet 5 xx

Well, we recognise the sacrifice of Kew! as LONG as you don’t take thousands of photos on Saturday!!! Looking forward to seeing you very much. Your ATCs look splendid, when you mentioned theme, I suddenly wondered what mine are all about...talk about short memory!!

I would also like to say (before the ‘submit’ button gets the better of me again!) how lovely lovely your card was...and there was me going on about the die being so fab. I was right!! Thank you a decade. Xxxx

OMG with all the prep going on here I haven't even thought of taking something to craft!! I best sort something out even though I doubt any will get done.

Fab ATC's and I like your idea of the time theme - very appropriate. Just been and seen your Kew photos - Wow they are gorgeous (as always!). I love the alliums, what a stunning display -I've tried growing them several times in my garden over the years and they always fail to return the following year - sooooo frustrating. I also love your butterfly top too!
Hope you have a great week and loads of fun at the crop,

Love the ATCs - and you used your favourite stamps too, yay! I like your optimism about packing for the Crop - I'm taking some crochet but know I probably won't do a stitch!!

Wow, you're going to take all that on the train with you! Brave woman! It must be quite a long journey for you from Surrey. It would be lovely to meet you if I can make it (still not sure if I can). Lovely ATC's all over - thank you so much for mine, it's a beautiful addition to my collection, I'll just have to figure out a way of storing them - they will all be going on my blog next week after the crop. Have a safe journey! zsuzsa #23

HI Helen, if you do end up packing some liquids. Do you guys have zip loc baggies there? ( maybe put those into something like that that would catch the drips if they the handlers toss your bag?) Ooh Love the collection of happy you have received and the atc's look really cool with the clock gears on them. ~Stacy #27

Hi Helen, I am smiling at the thought of you taking all that stuff and expect to see what you make/don't make Lol! If it's like when I go to our craft club it might not be much but I know you will have a great time and come back with some fab photos if nothing else. Hi Helen, lovely ATCs. I took far more to the Crop than I used last year. Most of the time I was either chatting or eating cake! I did get a tiny bit of crafting done, so I will sort out something to take with me. Really looking forward to meeting you. Have a great week, Heather x #11

Definitely sums me up ... pack just about everything but leave behind the very thing I need! Don't think I am ignoring your beautiful ATC - am saving them all for next week's WOYWW after the crop just in case anyone wanted them kept as a surprise. Have a FAB day on Saturday and yes, will most likely be crafting along too but certainly missing out on chat and cake! Much love to you from Debbie xXx

Hi Helen. - Couldn't comment earlier as I spent Wednesday lying prone on the settee feeling VERY rough - however... here I am now. I feel very honoured that you are coming to stay here instead of your regular visit to Kew!!! Thank you. I think I had better empty the car boot ready for everything to fit in on Saturday!! Your case, Camilla has loads of things. No idea what Chris will be bringing, but as she is coming in the car with Adrian she isn't limited, then there is my stuff, some cakes to take as our contribution to the Cake Mountain...
You have made some lovely ATCs - I look forward to seeing them "in real life".
Travel safely tomorrow - see you at the station.
Take care. God bless.

Lovely ATCs you've received, Helen. I was unable to take part in this swap with too much other stuff going on and all the stress of my PIP application dragging me down health-wise too. As you know we've also been extremely busy with all the various family celebrations! I am actually really glad the pension as delayed, because it's meant I've got more money coming in than I would have had, and the lump sum as well, and it's all arrived at exactly the right time. Thank you for your good wishes for my PIP application. Today I completed the form in draft, and am having it checked on Monday by the AgeUK volunteer, and I'm hoping she'll approve of what I've done, and also that I have given them more than enough info that they won't call me for a face to face assessment, but I think I will have to face that unfortunately.

We love the Yum Sing Chinese restaurant! We always seem to end up there for anniversary celebrations! Getting extra food so we could pig out the next day too was great!

Happy belated WOYWW,
