WOYWW 487 - back to work

So my time off work has come to an end and I am back to work today... had a great few days though, some glorious warm sunshine and lots of photos - couple of trips to Kew (here and here) , one to London and one to Hampton Court..    Somehow we have found ourselves in October... how did that happen?!

time quickly to share a floor space for WOYWW  with Julia and the gang
I didn't go out anywhere on Tuesday to give my legs a rest (and the camera!)
I got a few more layers done on a couple of the FB challenge for France Papillon..

this one is "pretty in pink"
and this one is "nobody said it was easy"

bit random on this one..

of course I didn't make a start on the dreaded Christmas cards (it was only a very vague idea, the weather was much too nice to stay in!)
guess I will have to soon though.

I'll visit as many desks as I can before work, the rest once I get home.

I don't blame you not yet starting on Christmas cards Helen. Loved seeing the pictures from your gallivanting this week on FB. Are you going back to work for a rest lol? Have a great week. Sarah #5

It was fun joining you on vacation. I am saddened it had to come to an end, but I know you have to get back to work so you can buy those stencils, stamps, and inks you desperately NEED!

Morning Helen. Sounds like you had just as busy a week as I have - just different. Well done for all those lovely sounding visits - and even a bit of crafting as well. Hope your first day back isn't too arduous!
Take care. God bless.

Hi Helen. There's always something to distract from Christmas but I have made a Masterboard so you never know. Love the journal pages. Have a lovely WOYWW and thanks for the visit to mine. Angela x13x

I enjoyed your days off too! Wonderful photos as usual, but at this time of year the sun does make such a difference huh. No blame from me for not staying at home and making cards, much too nice for that. See on week’s where ‘pretty in pink’ is a prompt, I could just about cope, but this week’s is too random for me...I need direction!! Hope the work routine isn’t too painful to ease back into really!

Hi Helen, been enjoying all the photos! Hampton Court is on our to-do list. I'd really struggle with 'pretty in pink,' lol. Have a lovely week, Hugs, Shaz #8 X

Love your pages Helen but why did you have to remind me that I need to start on those C Cards? You and I are always later than most folks so we are both in good company LOL. Maybe November?

Hi Helen, just had a lovely trip to Kew, London and Hampton Court with the help of your fabulous photos. I particularly liked the salvias, the autumn foliage and the pumpkin patch. Hope your first day back to work has gone well for you although I imagine there was a lot to catch up on. Have a wonderful week. Elizabeth x #17

Oh my... what beautiful photos. Frame worthy!! Thanks for sharing such a lovely vacation. I like the macro shots. So pretty. Makes me want to find my camera. I am too lazy to use it and end up using my iPhone. Thank you so much for sharing! Have a great first day back to work!

You say random, I say wow - the "nobody said it was easy" already looks amazing to me (yeah, I'm a sucker for crackle!)... Glad to hear you had a sunshiny time off - we've got glorious weather here in CZ too... only one day in the last ten without sunshine and completely blue skies. With the trees just starting to turn, it's beautiful.

I do like the page background on the last photo.. intriguing! The weather was nice here too, I can imagine you don't feel like creating X-mas cards then (I must confess, I NEVER feel like making Xmas cards!) Thanks for your visit earlier this week - my journal spread was indeed all about Autumn, you saw that well! Happy belated woyww and a hug from Holland. Marit #10

Hi Helen, of course I laughed about the Christmas cards... ( which is why I make them all year off and on since they are mostly one of a kind) I think the dread for me is the idea that everyone should have the "same" card. ~Stacy #30

Hi Helen, I know what you mean, how did we sudenly get to another October?! It really looks like October out there today as well, though on the plus side, I picked up a bag of walnuts and some quinces :o) Love the look of your journal pages, I haven't tried any of France's challenges yet, but they do look really inspiring. Have a great weekend. Annie C #14
