so last week I hadn't done anything for atcs for the anniversary swap next week, but that has all changed...
However, I have 8, so one for my swap partner, one for Julia, one for Jan, one for Annie and Jo as they have already offered to swap and sent me some last year when I didn't make spares (spot a theme here?!) and that leaves 3 extras...
and a couple of days later I also finally checked out of my Amazon basket, the Neocolour IIs which also came super quick
I've had a quick play and so far am very impressed.

I won't be going to Kew this weekend because I shall be glued to the TV for the Royal Wedding but if you need a fix here are last week's pics... I took nearly 500 last week - it's getting hard to stop! ( I know several of you saw them when I linked it on FB )
* edit. the mammogram went well, just need to wait for the results now... not expecting to get bad news as I've not noticed anything, but ....

I STILL haven't started my ATCs but this year I only plan to make one for my PIF partner and one for Julia. Like you, I will be watching the royal wedding. Meghan is such a big hit here in the states, and Harry is such a cutie, we are all wishing them happiness, unlike some of the vengeful media in the UK.

Helen i'm so proud of your for checking out that amazon basket and really hope you have lots of creative fun with those neoII's as you know i'm very biased and I believe they were the very first artist quality tool that helped me on my journey many many moons ago!!

Think I am up to date with your Kew visiting but will miss out this weekend because of the Royal wedding. I cannot watch it! Our silly craft club made one feel guilty with all its emails about "support" when it decided to hold its meeting on Saturday. I will just have to content myself with my recorded version (which will start at the beginning and go on to the end I can assure you - cannot miss it, not one little bit)

Hurrah, ATCs done, see, a fit of deadline fever and it’s all done!! Your Kew photos were tremendous, I am transfixed by the restoration. We are away this weekend but I plan to watch as much as I can, royal weddings aren’t exactly regular! I’m not familiar with the Neocolours, might have to browse the colouring shelves more intently next time I’m in a suitable shop. I’m impressed by the tidiness 9f the space here, everything neatly stacked and lined up....are you in for a marathon session?!!
Wahoo ATCs made....and one with my name on....double wahooo. Yours are here ready and waiting too. Can you tell I’m excited? Royal wedding too....who doesn’t like a royal wedding?

Just saw that edit - thats was early! Not a great experience but better safe than sorry... Would love an ATC if there's a spare but no worries. I shall be travelling up to Evesham on Saturday, leaving early so hopefully we will get there in plenty of time to settle in and watch. Happy Wednesday, Cindy #16

You're never quite certain until you get that all-clear letter after a mammogram eh? I do so hate that test but it's a necessary evil. Like your new stash, someone else was singing the praises of Neocolours, they certainly look great to use.

Had mammogram not long ago :-( all was good. Just back from GP - turns out I have a Urinary tract infection :-( Enjoy the weekend viewing. Anne x # 11

Hi Helen, so funny true story after saying I am not shopping for the next little while, I stop by your blog. and I end up googling Neocolour lol... nope, I did not buy them they kind of remind me of some wax based watercolor crayons I have and I am not sure they are the same thing, I will have to look later when I get home. which made me think that I have not used watercolor crayons in a long time and I should dig them out soon :) love the color peeking through the sheet. ~Stacy #29

Lovely stash this week, the paper pad is very pretty and would have definitely ended up in my basket too! The Neocolour's I haven't tried but seen several people commenting on how good they are - something I need to investigate further I fear!

Those youtube videos are dangerous, they somehow manage to cause you to shop. I always seem to find things in my shopping cart after watching them. Lovely new stash!
