WOYWW 464 - more stencils??!

Once again, we find ourselves at Wednesday.  Julia is gathering the troops as ever at The Stamping Ground
We are approaching the 9th anniversary and our annual ATC swap, not that I've done anything about that yet!  Perhaps I'll get time at the weekend, the weather is forecast damp so I'll probably be at home.

Anyway, desk time...
I was watching You Tube on Saturday morning in bed before I went to Kew Gardens (amazing photos here if you're interested!)
and saw some gorgeous stencils which then fell into my shopping basket (along with some Dina Wakley collage tissue sheets that I've had my eye on for a while)
They arrived in time to star on this week's desk, how kind was that!

this week's theme for the Facebook France Papillon challenge is "friends" and I am workingat this at present.

base layer was paint brayered on a sheet of 12x12 tissue and glued to the journal and trimmed. I used about 6 or 7 different colours, blues and greens and some yellow.

the hearts are all stamps - the little white ones in paint, are France's own design, and the others are Dina Wakley and I used archival ink in Cobalt and Thistle (love that colour!)

We've had some amazing sunsets the last few nights (well not tonight - writing this Tuesday - it's been dull and grey and turning a bit drizzly) this was from a few nights ago.

Looking forward to seeing what you've all been up to this week - Happy WOYWW !

Just stopped by to tell you what a great eye you have for those stencils. Not playing this week at WOYWW, but still wanted to tell you how much I liked what you bought this week. I'm really in awe of all these.

BEAUTIFUL sunset, too.

What fabulous sunsets you have been having, wish we had some up north but it has been pretty miserable these last few days.
Love the stencils that "fell" into your basket and the journal pages are fabulous that you have been doing of late.
Enjoy your new stencils - I will enjoy seeing them used.
Hugs, Neet xx

Hi Helen, I knew you would have some great new stash to share. Love the look of the latest layers on your France Papillon page. I haven't tried out my Thistle pad yet, but the Acorn is amazing. Have a great week. Sarah #?

Lovely new stash and your pages are really pretty. The sky pic is stunning....it was so lovely to enjoy a few sunny days but I’ve put my sandals away for now because it was cold and very wet here yesterday.

Just popping in to say hello Helen and pleased to see you are still getting inky. Shame about the last fifteen minutes, but pretty good otherwise.

The Kew pics are fantastic - how are you getting on with your new lens? I particularly loved the tulips, one of my fav flowers. That new stash looks interesting, I haven't yet succumbed to buying something after watching a youtube video but there's time yet!!

Glorious sunset Helen. It's bright and breezy and has dried my washing but still a bit chilly. Your little page is a delight - I have no idea how you do it - very clever. x Jo

What a great bundle of stencils Helen, a genius invention and so good for us crafters with limited space as we can have so many of them and they take up so little space. Your Journal page is coming along very very nicely, I too love the Thistle archival and i'm not a purple person but it does have an air of romance about it.
Thank you for sharing WOYWW and i'll try and catch those Kew photo's later.
Creative wishes for the coming week Tracey #10

You sure seem to find some great looking stencils! And your page is pretty cool! We're having some very warm and sunny weather (highs in the low to mid 90*F) so our air conditioner is starting to run to keep the house a bit cooler. Love your sunset! Hope you get some sunny days!

I always love seeing the new stash on your desk...my bank account doesn't, but I do! You will love the Dina Wakley collage tissue. I hope they will sell just a packet of the blank pages, I've already stamped most of mine for journaling.

Happy WOYWW!

I love when things fall into my cart - saves me the time to hunt for something. If it falls in, then I know I must need the item(s). If I have to hunt, then probably not something I need. Love the base journal page spread. pretty colors. I think I need archival inks in other colors. Hugs and Creative Blessings! Kelly #27
