WOYWW 453

Morning/afternoon/evening deskers... another Wednesday dawns and it's time for WOYWW again... link as always at Julia's gaff..
I'm expecting to see evidence of her ScanNCut endeavours today, given her previous post!  No pressure then, Julia!

As for me, my first parcel arrived on Friday and even though it was delivered to work I had to open it to investigate!
Here it is on my home desk though..
the paints are gorgeous colours, especially the one called Blue Lagoon.. I have used it. although not sure what on now, so I can't show you!

my floor  "desk" taken from a standing position to cut out shadows...

the journal page is for this week's France Papillon's challenge, have to say I've struggled a bit this week, the theme is "how are you feeling today" and I've been unsure how to put it on paper... however, it's progressing!

you can see I've used the JoFY mini flower stamp already too!

I was however, really pleased how last week's page ended up (full details in the previous post, but here's the end result)

I might be late home from work today so for the desks I don't get to visit before I leave for work, may be a bit delayed in reaching you

Adore your journal page and the words are just right. (hope I read them in the right order) love the pink page too. Super job as always. Hope the snow doesn't come your way to hamper your commutes. BJ#2
PS So funny that Neet got #1 wasn't it?

Love the little guy sitting on that page - love how you do these pages with the jagged lines (only way I can describe it but I love it, really do).
If you read my blog post I think you would find it hard to paint how I feel today! LOL

The words are so relevant at this time of year when so many of us are in the doldrums one way or another.

Not sure I’d want to work on a page to show how I’m feeling today....argh!! Cough, cold and earache! How do you create that on a page?
Hope you have a great week.

Helen, I have to tell you that I am pea green with envy over that first photo! I want Seth's new paints and those stamps are gorge!!! Good for you! I mentioned last week that I was liking your journal spread! I know how it feels to have something that is a work in progress, when you aren't either "feeling it" or unsure of how to convey the prompt! I love it what you are doing! Have a great rest of the week! Blessings, Felicia #32

I simply love how this journal page is turning out the sentiment is so fantastic :) Helen. :) I figure that I may not end up with every shade of Oxides because, I do have them in regular distress but, I find my self reaching for them more often than anything else lately.

Lagoon Blue sounds perfect doesn’t it, it’s definitely all in the name! I hadn’t any scan and cut stuff In use on my desk....but there were a couple of trial pieces buried somewhere, does that count!, love the finished journal page and totally get why this week’s prompt would cause you to pause, crikey! I like the Jody flowers...that solid one would look nice with the spidery one stamped over, wouldn’t it? Or do my eyes deceive me as usual!! New badge in the post Gal. Xxx
