WOYWW 277 - a "little" pile of shopping..

Hi, welcome back for another Wednesday's snooping round  visiting the world's workdesks... Head Desk Monitor Julia has all the info here

Well as some of my regular visitors have already seen, I spend both Saturday AND Sunday at Alexandra Palace (Ally Pally) filling bags with crafty goodies.. and catching up with friends and watching cool demonstrations... and doing some more shopping... The previous 2 posts give full details and a close look at what I got... but just for you, here's another view!

ha ha! all in a - very big - pile!  Flowers seem to have featured quite large in my buys, but there were trims and paints, canvases, stencils and stamps and.... duplicates!  I managed to buy a stencil I already have and a stamp set too...however, both are already sorted, the stencil I am selling to a friend and the stamp set I will swap for a replacement... I really must start taking the ring binder "catalogue" with me again!

I will be home part of this afternoon waiting for the Virgin telephone engineer to come and fix my home phone line - which I discovered on Friday wasn't working... Depending on how early I get sorted in the morning before work, I may update my desk (floor) shot with all the stuff I will have had to move to give him space to get to the phone socket on the wall in the corner!

(EDIT - here it is!  will remove all the dust this afternoon!)
It does also mean I may get some time to visit more desks than for a few weeks, as I won't be able to craft until he's been, as where I work is where he'll need access round!
In the meantime, have a great week, and happy WOYWW!

hey Helen, you got carpet! Hope it is not too long before the engineer finishes and you can get back to normal and start crafting again.
I love the thought of going to Ally Pally and it still is on my 'to do' list as it is years since I was there.
You enjoy your newly acquired stash. Don't forget to blog your makes with it please.
Hugs, Neet (and thanks for visiting me) xx16

I though 'what a restrained pile of purchases for two days at Ally Pally', but then looked at the previous two posts and realised that you have squeezed a lot of super goodies into a very small pile. Lots of masks which do take very little space, and some beautiful flowers.
Hope the phone man arrives at the most convenient time for your blog hopping.

So many goodies, I peeked at your Ally Pally visit. I'm in shock, you really do have a floor!!! :) I hope your phone gets fixed quickly so that you can fill that space up again (he he).
Have a great week playing with all those goodies.

Oooo Helen. What fun you had on your two days out! Those stencils are lovely - as is everything else. Great little buckets - hat will you do with those?
Glad you had such fun, and trust all goes well when the phone engineer arrives. Did you find treasure when you cleared out the corner??
Take care. God bless.

It must be hard not being able to craft until the workman is done with his job! Thank god for the Internet, hey? You can get your fix online. zsuzsa @ InkyDinkyDoodle #22

The Ally Pally show is on my bucket list- had hoped to o it this year, but maybe next now. Never been to that one. Have a look at Evernote, a free app for tablet/mobiles. You can record all your stuff on it, so you've always got a list of what you have with you. You can drag and drop images of stamps etc into it to. Have a great week, Hugs, Shaz #25 xxx

I will have to go back in time so I can catch up on your shopping spree...That is quite a haul. At least you still have internet, even if your land line is not working. I would feel like I was missing a limb if I had not internet! #41

Well, consider it a bonus, you get your phone fixed AND get an area cleaned that might not have been touched for a while. At least that's how I look at it when guys come in to work. :-)

Thanks for stopping by my blog earlier and for the nice comments.

Happy Woyww,

I hate duplicating on ourchases but it's so easy when you haven't used something for a while but worse than that is when you don't buy it because you think you have it and then get home and realise you don't.
Have a great week and happy crafting, Angela x 36

LOL! I did the same p the last stamp show either I managed to buy two of the SAME stencil or two were stuck together and I got two for one. still not sure which. Oh and I fairly recently opened up my Mac, and dusted very gently inside it with a soft makeup brush, sucking up all the dirt and dust. I can't even tell you how much quieter it was once I'd finished. If you know how to get in to your PC it MIGHT be worth doing. I was to the point where I KNEW I was going to need to look at a new Mac and if it was then, or if it was soon, or if it was in a year, it wasn't going to matter much so I didn't feel I was taking much of a risk. But that's me - it might not be you :)

Happy WOYWW!

Maybe you should schedule the telephone guy more often if it makes you tidy up, lol!! I saw all the new goodies already, shame about the duplicates though, I think we've all done that at some point or other.

New stash is always fun, and you've got a great collection there. I'm glad it isn't just me who buys duplicates by mistake - my latest stash purchase contained some liquid pearls I'd got already! Perhaps we ought to organise some sort of swap on here, so we can all get rid of our duplicates and get something new instead lol!

Happy belated WOYWW,

I thought I already commented because I know I looked at your Ally Pally stash but I guess I didn't comment. Love your pile of goodies - I missed this years Ally Pally but hopefully I will be able to go to the spring one - hopefully by then my pension will be sorted! Huh! Thank you for commenting on my blog - I am sooo late coming back!
Lots of hugs,
