WOYWW 258 - 2 weeks to go

and I've started atc's... admittedly not many and admittedly not finished... but!!!! Anyhow, it's Wednesday (well it will be when this is published..) and that means only one thing - Julia's What's on Your Workdesk? Wednesday - .week 258.. and 2 weeks to the big 5th anniversary... so. you want a desk?  So do I. (ha ha)

Do you think I have enough blank journals standing by?? there are 4 big (A4) ones and one smaller one which was meant to be a replacement for the one that is now nearly full...
But I just got those down to tease you!

There is new,new stuff to share - the set of stamps and the box of tissue wrap that I just got .  Can't wait to play with these... and the flowers on the mat are for a journal challenge that Darcy, stamp designer for Paperartsy, is running - we're up to month 4 and I am running out of time to finish this month's page... and should have been working on tonight (Tuesday, as I write) but of course I didn't!
This is what it is going to be based on...
and this is as far as it's got !!
I have to say though, I love the square page format of this journal.

Sorry I didn't get to visit many desks last week, not quite sure where the time went!
Anyhow, I'll catch as many of you as I can this week, have a great WOYWW .

Laughed and laughed at your desk comment.

Looking forward to seeing that Darcy inspired project. A square journal! Never seen one before. It looks interesting.

Getting an early start while you (and Julia) sleep, so no number yet.

Hi Helen
It's been a while I know, since I last managed to link up but I'm back now and just popping my head round the door to say hello!
You can never have enough journals in my opinion and I love the tissue wrap. It is very handy.
Thanks for sharing your creative space and I hope you have a good week too.

Really looking forward to the drop too! And will see you there. Love that stamp set, looks really useful. I will NOT BUY MORE STAMPS til I make myself use all the ones I DO have more often. But every week I am very, very tempted. {sigh}

Happy WOYWW!

That tissue paper is on my wish list, though I just blew the next few months budget on 9 tim stencils, 3 distress glitters, black Studio 940 texture paste and tims long shears...the tissue paper will have to wait! #28

What the heck is tissue wrap?? Honestly, I swear that I'm getting the hang of your Stamper's Lingo and then you drop another weird product into the conversation...LOL!!
Julia's got a thing about notebooks too, so you're in good company :-)

I have three journals on the go (I think) but one is for art journalling, one for chalk experiments and I cannot remember what the third is but I know where it is. Then I have some blanks. Sounds as if we are similar.
You have just beaten me on the atc's - I intend to start today, or maybe tomorrow. Hope it is today.

Hi Helen,
Thanks for dropping by! Love the roll of tissue paper. Pretty sure I have a similar one here too :)
The reason I only took a very neat small box of suppplies away was because I visited a friend who has EVERYTHING :) :) When I go there I need to take very little :)
Have a good week,

I like the square page too - I think it's somehow less obviously 'book-ish'. Does that even make sense!! You seem very busy..am hoping the ATCs aren't causing you to feel pressure. Maybe it's because you have so much stash to choose from you don't quite know what to choose.......

Great to hear/see you have at last started your ATC's. Yes definitely enough journals at the ready I think, you best make a mental note of this fact so you aren't tempted to get anymore!! Thanks for your visit BJ#39

As usual, you have so many lovely things going on! I am glad you are the bendy type - now that I've injured my back I could never make it down to the floor (for now at least). Happy WOYWW! Sandy Leigh #68

Yep! I think you have enough books to keep you going for a wee while anyway. I like the look of the stamp set you have there and tissue paper ... I've seen it mentioned quite a lot recently so it will be interesting to see what you do with it. Have a great week, Elizabeth x #78

Nice to see you so busy and having fun. I was thinking that if you pile up those journals and through a cloth over them you'd have your desk!! Lol, yeah, a divorce does kinda put a damper on things!

Hi Helen,

I looked at the photo and immediately noticed all the journals! WOW. I must admit, I'm the same way. I have several pads of watercolor paper, one for mixed media, etc.... I love the white page though. I just need to breakdown and get inky!

Happy belated WOYWW

Hi Helen, I am so running late this week. Still have to get to my ATC's- Can I start panicking now,do you think? Indeed, with all the hassle with the courier company, I had visions of them calling just after we left, and leaving the boxes by the door! Have a great week, Hugs, Shaz #29 xx
