This wee we've had real treats on the Paperartsy blog, with new designers and some fun with burnt tins (more of that later I hope!) but at the end of the week, the lovely Ellen was back with a tag flip book using her gorgeous stamps... I had to have a play.
Followed Ellen's method of scraping the paint down the tag with a credit card, then stamping with a toning archival ink.. this is Bora Bora with cobalt ink. I used size 7 tags
and London Bus with red geranium ink
added some patterns on thin paper
hmmm this is rotated in my picture file!! Made some mini tags, to go on top.. I like the one on the left, not the one on the right (forgot some background stamping! ) These are size 3 tags which I layered to black card and cut to shape
side one... sentiments from one of JoFY's sets
side two.... sentiment is by Donna Downey

Hello Helen,
Been a very poor visitor of late thanks to health issues but trying hard to get back into the swing of things and just wanted to say hello and check out your recent makes.
It can be hard at the top, I so feel for Stevie, he want's it so much.

Great tag and fab colours xx
You make it sound quick and easy, but there is quite a lot of painting and stamping on these tags. Love the bright colours and graphic look Ellen's stamps give.
Beautiful tags! So glad you joined in the fun! Thanks for all your support - means a lot to me!
Great tags! Really love the bright colours you used :)
