I started by taking a piece of paper from the Prima "Sunrise, Sunset" pad (A4 size) and stuck it to my journal page, leaving spaces round the edge for the quote. (and not to hide the wrinkles from the spray mount, honestly!!) I then added a coat of Nougat Fresco paint, watered down, and applied with a brayer.
Then it was time to play with new goodies - fresh from Paris and the Version Scrap show (see here for the details)
I used a gorgeous new stencil by a French company called Atilolou and some even more gorgeous pigment ink - made by Izink (who I think are from the States) and which we used in the class we went to while there.... OH MY GOODNESS!! I stencilled this with cut and dry foam - it comes in a bottle with a dropper, so just put a couple of drops on my craft mat. Just look at the shimmer!
Then I used a new stamp (white rubber) by a company called Carabelle Studio and stamped this randomly around the pages, with Picked Raspberry distress ink. The stamp was actually free, on promotion for spending 50 Euro at their stand...
I wrote the quote round the page, with a fine black Sharpie pen.
Entering this to the Craft Barn Q&L challenge and it also meets my friend Emma's challenge to the 4 of us who went to Paris, to use our new stash!

Wow those inks worked really well through the stencil, though they might of been a bit runny, but you did a fab job.
