During the week, Paperartsy have again wowed us with guest designers and beautiful projects. It was Jo Myhill's turn on Thursday, and she used some of the lush new paper from Paperartsy, a collection called Chatsworth. Could I bring myself to use a piece???
Ok, I could... I used a different one to Jo's so that I was forced to change the colours a little and adapt it a bit...
I used this one, and like Jo decided to cut it to 8x8, leaving leftovers for the flowers.
Added some Fresco paints - knew I should have written them down... Chartreuse and Seaweed, and stamped in Fern Green archival.
Tag, swirled Tikka, Haystack, Chartreuse and Hey Pesto..
Had a bit of a fiddle and faff with the flowers - the centres didn't hold together very well when I was trying to stick them, but I forced them in the end!!
I know from a design point of view you're not meant to have even numbers of things, so as I only had one large flower left and no scraps of the sheet left, I used a metal flower for the centre of my third flower.
I only had enough card left for two leaves, though!
It is a bit greener than it looks here, the background paper especially, but the light is bad - too dark to do without the light, and even with the daylight bulb on, it's not come out very well!
Linking to the Paperartsy challenge here
and to the Country View Crafts Challenge - Paper Chase - for their first blogoversary - here where the theme is to predominantly use paper - think I've covered that one!

You've been very brave to cut into your papers, I know I hate it too... But it's worth it! Lovely piece and the flowers are fab.
Gorgeous! Tag and flowers are so beautiful. xx
I'm really blown away by this! The word that came to mind was professional, in the sense that it looks like a piece in an art magazine . it is absolutely perfect.
