I decided on a card, and a Stamp in the Hand poppies stamp, which I coloured with Festive Berries and Mowed Lawn distress inks, and Black Soot for the centres.
The increasingly inky and painty ramblings of a stampaholic, whilst kneeling on the floor. Yes, my knees do protest!

Crafty Boots - Remembrance
Hello, welcome back to another challenge from Crafty Boots - it was my own choice of theme for this fortnight, and coming a day after Remembrance Sunday, and on Armistice Day itself, I couldn't have anything else.... you can make whatever you choose, but it must be in Remembrance of something or someone.
I decided on a card, and a Stamp in the Hand poppies stamp, which I coloured with Festive Berries and Mowed Lawn distress inks, and Black Soot for the centres.
I typed part a line of the poem The Fallen that is always read at Remembrance services on a piece of thin card and 3d mounted it to the card, adding my poppy too.

Great Challenge Helen, all the poppy projects look wonderful. Your card is gorgeous and I love how you have used a poppy from the Poppy Appeal.

So pretty Helen, what a wonderful remembrance piece. Kimx
Gorgeous Helen, the poppies are so striking and I love how you incorporated the larger poppy pin. Fabulous wording too. Tracy x
A delightful image and beautifully finished card - one of the very first stamps I bought.
Good one under our belts again.

Your card is beautiful, well thought out, and so thoughtful on this day of world peace. Gotta love the poppies!
That is beautiful.
Beautifully done. That poem is always so moving and it works so well with this composition. A thoughtful and beautiful reminder of the sacrifice so many have made for us. Julie Ann xx
This is lovely Helen! I really like the poppies in that gorgeous red. The crispness of the red and bright green make for a very striking card.
