Dragons Dream - Tag It On -

This fortnight, we are welcoming back Gabrielle to the fold at DragonsDream - after her accident when she broke her elbow it is lovely to have her back crafting. Gabrielle has chosen the recipe for this challenge, on your tag, she would like us to use tissue - be it tissue wrap, tape or plain old tissue - the colour blue - and the theme of music. Oh, and you must use one real stamp too.

This is my tag
I sprayed a tag (size 8) with water, then sprayed Dylusions inks - After Midnight and London Blue, allowing the colours to puddle and mingle. Once dry, I tore some pieces of tissue wrap - the only one I have is the music one, which is handy, I think!!

When I use Dylusions on tags I usually press a second one on top, to help spread out the inks and to use up some of the spare colour.

On this second tag, I stamped one of the ballerinas from Sioux Jenney's stamps for the Artistic Stamper and cut her out, and one of the phrases from the same stamp set, on some plain tissue paper.

I mounted the dancer on another piece of tissue and roughly tore round it before sticking them to my tag...

I scuffed the edges with my paper distresser and used Walnut Stain distress ink round the edges.

A bright blue ribbon finishes the tag off.

Couple of close ups...

Hope you have fun with the team again this fortnight - do come and check out what the other talented ladies have been doing!
