So. It's Wednesday, it's silly o'clock and it's.... Crackerjack... Sorry, reverting to my youth there for a minute. Ok, so it's not Friday, or 5 to 5....those of you of a certain age and from the UK will probably remember the children's tv programme... anyway, I digress and Julia will be having a go at me for taking too long....
So, it's Wednesday and it's What's on Your Workdesk Wednesday day.... still don't know? Check out Julia's blog here for all the info and where to link up - come on, share your crafty space and bare all - you know you want to! Apart from being half way to the weekend, today is the day we love, for the day were we all get together and show our desks/ironing tables/cupboards/floors...
(will she ever stop waffling? OK then...)
There isn't actually anything much on the "desk" today.. my journal you can just see, at the bottom of the photo- is shut (I published 3 blog posts on Sunday and since then haven't done anything) So I've taken a reveal all (well some) shot for you - it's been a while!
This shot is taken from gap between the spare chair (not that anyone can sit on it, it's got another box full of stash sat on it) and some of the piles of magazines under the window - towards the door... which you can see acts as a wardrobe overflow... perhaps I should have taken them down first!
I have been recycling from work too, the empty box is from some envelopes and is so sturdy it was too good to let it be thrown away - I am sure I can find something to store inside!!
And the canvas bag came from one of the big banks - it has a revolting plasticised advert on one side, but I am sure I can hide that somehow, and use it for something....don't you?! I have tried to see if it will peel off, but I think it's stuck fast, so will need hiding somehow... watch this space, but don't hold your breath, it may take a while!!
Better let you go, Julia will be waiting for you... have a good week all.

As always, I'm super impressed with all that storage. You have more storage than I could ever imagine. And of course, you have more stamps and inky stuff than anyone I know, including my local stamp store. If I had a bucket list, playing with you in your stash would be at the top of it!! Happy WOYWW from # 10.

OMG! Crackerjack! I remember it well! But your workspace is amazing! I think you should definitely find a use for that sturdy cardboard box: I can understand why you didn't want to leave that to its fate! Not sure what you could do about the horrible plasticised advert, but I'm sure you'll find a way! Careful you don't get Dylusions spray on your clothes there! Happy WOYWW! Julie Ann xx
OOps! I forgot, all that excitement about Crackerjack - I'm #35 today! Julie Ann xx

Crackerjack now thats a blast from the past . Helen i loved that show .Happy crafting Jill
It's not till you hit publish that you notice stuff that you prolly don't want in the picture huh?! I don't mind seeing your immaculately ironed tops though...gives me aspirations of slimness and erm, ironed clothes!
Now I know that your lounge is stash central, so I also know that whatever else it was when you bought it, that roasting tin is probably not a stray from the kitchen!!
Meant to say - loved your weekend posts...my you are prolific when the muse gets you!
Oh how I would love to be let loose among those drawers! I think I might have more chance of getting in there and sneaking out with a few bits unnoticed than you would at mine! Thanks for your kind comments x

Goodness - yes, remember all the cabbages? Three and you were out - drop something and gain another cabbage!! You have so many drawers - I'd love to peek sometime!! I just find storage drawers exciting - never know what you'll find....
Have a great week.

Helen, where do you fit in that room? I 'd love you to affix yourself to the ceiling and do an aerial shot for us. Love those sets of drawers. I think the box you brought home is fantastic, love the handle on it and the bag can have its logo covered with a patch that is decorated easily.
Have a good week and thanks for your visit earlier.
Hugs, Neet 32 xx
so long as you know where everything is, it's all good :) and a spare chair is a spare surface to put stuff, in my book!

Sadly, I am old enough to remember crackerjack!! (Though I never won a pencil). Helen you really are a womble - just like me!! The strangest things turn up on my desk at work because people didn't want to throw it away 'jusat in case you could do something crafty with it.....'. Bit like home and the recycling actually. Anyway, just adore your carpet mayhem - do you ever have visitors lol? Happy WOYWW Cindy #59
Wow, drawers and drawers of stash!!!
~Kate~
Hi Helen

Have and extra special WOYWW and week

Plenty of much needed supplies always look good to me, and more of the recycling nature too brilliant. Sure you can cover that bag with something, its a good size too.
Lynda #96
Looks like a large pile of supplies....Lots of crafting!
I have to say I'm really impressed by your room. Those drawers look fantastic, I could spend hours peeking into those and finding all sorts of treasures. You certainly have a lot of goodies there.

Crackerjack! What a blast from the past, I'm so old I remember it in black and white with Lesley Crowther and Peter Glaze. Wanted to go on but afraid I would be first to drop a cabbage.
Love your 'desk' always makes me feel better to know there is at least one person in the world with as much stash as me.
Have a good week, and thanks for visiting.

That's quite some Aladdin's cave you've got there Helen! Love those drawer units - do you have a long tem plan to "alter" them or are you sticking with the timber look? Good luck with your up-cycling looking forward to seeing the results. Thanks for your visit. MMx #33

Ah yes, Eamonn Andrews and cabbages - days of innocence, I remember it well. Your 'desk' - I strongly suspect that if it wasn't for the EM's 'influence' I think mine would be very similar - gotta love that pile of stamps conveniently close to the sofa :) Look forward to seeing how you get round that canvas bag problem. Thanks for the earlier visit. Hope you have a good week. Elizabeth x #47
Looks like no where to sit when I visit now :( I'm rather late today, thought Wednesday was tomorrow, rapidly loosing plot methinks. BJ#132
Loved the long view of your unique crafting area, Helen! And do love how you visualize everything and think of ways to recycle and upcycle and then do it! Well done!

I have SO MANY fabulous boxes stashed and yet I never seem to get around to using them in a timely fashion. But knowing you thru WOYWW, I'm betting you'll be inspiring me in a week or two....
Happy (better late than never) WOYWW!
Mary Anne (27)
Thanks for stopping by, Glad to know I'm not the only "Salvage" "rescue" person...my dh just shakes his head. Enjoy the week
Helen, you have so many intriguing boxes and stacks, I could spend days just snooping through your stuff! Oh yes, just gesso over that ad, or put a patch on it, whatever you do will make it better than it is!
(My desk is almost NEVER clean, and it took me days to excavate it down to the actual desk you see this week!)
Thank you for stopping by this woyww, Helen!

HOLY STASH !!! Open the drawers show it all :) hugs Nikki 22 thanks for the visit
Awesome recycle...You inspire. Have a great day.
Hi Helen - I have boxes piling up that are too good to throw away - but they make great hamper holders for chrissy gifts LOL - good luck with the bank bag - the only thing that helps get rid of the plastic stuff is heat - but then that can damage the cotton too - Thanks for popping by earlier - I am playing catch up - Happy WOYWW - Mxx #138
I love those drawers you have at the back, but it might help if you could actually get within arms reach of them? LOL The box would be a keeper for me too... can't throw boxes out if they are nice and sturdy and a decent size and the bag would be great, you just need to make something to go over the logo!! Apologies for my late arrival of doing the round of WOYWW desks! Annette #6
Wow so much yumminess to look at, I think I have just spent 10mins having a right good nosy lol. I love the box and bag, with the bag I think I would do some fresco fabric square colouring with some lin brown flowers on top then sew it over the logo, hmmmmm think I need to go in search through my bags lol. Happy late woyww :-) Kezzy xxx p.s I got lynne Perilla (spelt wrong) number 8 stamps that you couldn't quite see on my desk xxx
