Simon Says - make a background

Monday sees a new Simon Says challenge - and this week Simon Says Show your Handmade Background.

I took to my journal and a page I actually started at the weekend but hadn't got very far with!

I have a bit of a thing for the CraftersWorkshop templates at the moment - this is the Mini Numbers Collage.  Colour is Seedless Preserves distress ink which I've hardly used since I got it - but it's so gorgeous!

I've used Stampotique stamps Daniels Hearts, Marcie and Glimmering Hope. The text is from the new Tim Holtz set Words for Thoughts.
I've coloured some of the hearts with a sparkly gel pen .

A random winner will win a $50 Simon Says voucher.

Your pages look great Helen.

I recently got some masks and am quite enjoying playing with them.

Good result Sunday.

What a good challenge. We so often forget our backgrounds are just as important as the toppers to make a good card. You have created some great ones there. Have a good week. xx Maggie
