WOYWW 856

I can't believe it is Wednesday again and time for WOYWW ... as always Sarah has the link to join in

I bought more goodies... Alison Bomber had some new stamps and stencils out with Paperartsy.. I only got one of the stencils (such restraint!!!)

I've not had a chance to play with the stamps yet

although  I did stamp each set out

Straight from the laminated sheet they come on - something Alison said in her FB launch that she does just to get an idea..

but then it was back to Christmas cards...

I got 2 paper cuts in making these from attempting to remove tightly packed card from storage boxes... blood was shed on one of the card blanks before I realised but luckily some judicious stencilling hid the damage!

so there are another 13 made, and I found some small square envelopes to use for 3 others... I need about another 14 or 15 so well on the way.

Kew on Saturday started chilly, but was sunny.. for a while

Loved the shadows of the vines
sadly the blue sky didn't last all morning, but long enough for some great Yoshino Cherry backdrop
the heron has such a funny face!

thanks for looking, happy WOYWW

Lovely Kew pictures. That blue sky is wonderful. You are doing so well with your C cards. I can't get motivated just yet. I need a new idea for a design that I will enjoy making x x Jo 🌈

Funny, you could almost just tart up those straight from the packaging stamps and have a ready made journal page! Lovely choices - she does lovely stamps. That heron! What a character.... Heading off for a hospital appt. but

What a great new set of stamps you’ve got there, they are so versatile and could be used for all sorts. Really like them! Well done on the C cards too, I’ve not yet made a start but will do this week as I’ve finally finished the Christmas stall knitting! The autumn colours at Kew are just glorious xx

I'm with Annie, not motivated to Christmas card making at all and I know I'll regret it. WI are having a couple of stalls and my hairdresser has asked for a stack to sell and still I'm just walking around the idea! You are doing so well, I shall try to follow your example. Well, apart from the bleeding bit, obviously! I think if you don't live here it's hard to understand how the sky can be so startlingly lovely on the same day as it goes grey and dull. Beautiful photos though, that Heron, he's trying to be imperial!

Super stamps and stencil - bet the other stencils were good too - LOL. That's a jolly interesting stamped alphabet?? Gorgeous colours at Kew and such a cheeky fellow at the end, saw one on a roof opposite last week too. Hugs BJ#1

You are definitely right about stolen designs. I don’t understand how they get away with it, I would never knowingly buy any design copies , even though they are so cheap, oddly enough you see more design copies on Amazon than you do on Temu
