WOYWW 829

checking in for WOYWW again, Wednesdays do come round fast.... since last week I have finally got round to sorting the new washing machine and it came Tuesday, I have taken some extra days off this week so am at home today.

Had some more play time at the weekend in my Dina ledger journal

I started a new page using 2 of the new Dina paints (haven't learnt the colours yet) and an early piece of collage tissue (the scribbly shape) and a stamped face

I expect I'll work on it some more during the wet weather we're forecast this week

I added lots more layers to this one that I started last week, stencil and masks, tissue collage, more stencilling

After the washing machine was installed (yay for an early delivery/installation, quite by chance) I got a couple of loads of washing done and decided on the spur of the moment to head to Kew

so you get bonus Kew -  today's    and Easter Saturday's!

So you are good to go now for a wash day. Glad you got an early delivery, it makes a difference. I'm up early today so I can shower and do my hair before the guy arrives to fix the dodgy jet on the stove top. Got fed up of not being able to use the small jet. Golly, they know how to charge for these things,
Love your first page, the background colour is lovely, and I do like the scribble. Love how you add more layers to your work, I need to get into that when I do my journal pages.
Have a lovely time off work and gt more visits in to Kew.
Hugs and Happy St Georges Day.

I love the way you build up the layers on your pages - hours of fun there. What a relief to get your washer sorted - I can't imagine managing without, like we used to. x x Jo 🌈

Bet you were pleased when he arrived. We take washing machines for granted until we don't have one and then realise how much we need them. I'm sure you will find plenty to do on your days off. Have a good woyww. Hugs Angela x8x

Glad you are finally sorted with a new washing machine Helen and that you managed a bonus Kew day while the weather was decent. Love those stencilled sayings. Stay safe and Happy WOYWW. Sarah

Tempted to say "too bad" about the machine, but I guess you would eventually have to do laundry so I guess Yay!...? :D Lovely pages but poo to wet weather. Trying to do some outside work building a new catio and wet weather makes that tricky. Seem to have to try to comment a couple of times before it takes soshort and sweet this week...
Problems commenting this week but Happy WOYWW if you see this!

Hello Helen, Your pages are looking great. I wish I still had the patience to work on projects like those but it's gone for now. Maybe in time, as my concentration improves. Good news about your new washing machine. I enjoyed looking at your many photos from Kew. It's so good to see all the gorgeous tulips and the pretty blossom. Loved the photos of the heron and the deer - what an experience. Have a great week. Elizabeth x #11

A Washington machine is a must have and you must be delighted to see it arrive. Those lilac flowers are lovely, I don’t know what they are. Happy WOYWW. Angela #14

Hi Helen, thanks for your earlier visit and sorry I am so late. Is that a field of camassia I am seeing? I tried getting them in my garden but think they have all disappeared rather than naturalised. Hope you got your washing done! It hasn't really rained as much as forecast has it? We'll be in trouble soon. Nice to have a few days off to chill. Have a good week, love n hugs Cindyxx #10
