WOYWW 807

Well, hello desky peeps... it's Wednesday and all through the house..... not a thing to share for WOYWW....

nada!..  zilch!... nothing! ...

normally on a Sunday I force something but I spent all day doing nothing - I had a great time at a 70th birthday party on Saturday night (my out-out night I mentioned last week). there was Malaysian food, (some) drink and dancing.... and no, I wasn't hung over

which also means no more Christmas cards got made up and it's getting late ... as usual it'll be a last minute rush.

there is however, Kew to share, even with a party to go to there was time for Kew...

Jan this is just for you...

sadly not lit last weekend (not till the night anyway)  and we couldn't get into the centre for a real sense of scale....

no blue sky but at least it was dry...

the forecast for this coming weekend is anything but dry, but at least it's not snow (here anyway)

it won't stop me going, but it may get me wet!

Happy WOYWW  and I'm off to see some more busy desks!

Lovely autumnal shots Helen.
The party sounds wonderful - the food glorious. I once camped with a lovely Malayan girl and her food was wonderful.

We all have to share an empty desk occasionally especially after a good night out. I'm glad you had a good time and you managed a trip to Kew too. The Autumn colours are still beautiful but the snow and frost up here will put an end to ours I guess .x x Jo 🌈

Sounds like a great night out after a good morning at Kew Helen. An empty desk is at least ready for fun! Stay safe and Happy WOYWW. Sarah

Weird. When I clicked on the photo to see it bigger there was no clear way to come back. Must try again. In any case, yeah, I get the do-nothing kinda day, so no worries from me. Looks like Kew was fun and the party too. That's good enough!
It's WOYWW day!

Thank you! Are you sure you can’t smuggle it into your backpack somehow? It would look marvellous as a feature in my garden, lol!! I’m glad you enjoyed your night out, good to let your hair down now and again, but I quite like a quiet day after a razz on the town, can’t recover like I used to!!

Amazing there’s still so much autumn colour at Kew. I’m sure if Jan contacted Marc Quinn he’d sell her one 😹.
Good you enjoyed your party. With your magnificent Kew photos we’ll let you off your empty desk!
Happy WOYWW

Sounds like a lot of fun! I had my 70th last January, but it was very quiet. No party. Great photos! I love that gorgeous orange tree! 🍂Have a great week, Lindart #14

Glad to hear that you enjoyed your night out and that there was some dancing too! Your photos of Kew are always a joy to see and you always manage to capture some striking shots. I love the changing colours that Autumn brings although I think winter is fast approaching and more snowy pictures are popping up! _ Michelle x #16

Oh my a tad behind this week, what’s new! Been contending with a bad back this week, horrendous in the mornings tapering off during the day then the textile retreat starting at 4pm each day has taken over… Anyway better late than never…
Sorry you didn't get any crafting done this week but the party sounds like it was fun, and Kew still adorned with Autumnal colour and great art pieces.
