WOYWW 771

Good morning deskers, another week has flown and it's WOYWW time again. - desk sharing day.

I was playing in the large kraft journal with the new stencil branches redux - I used the mask element rather than the stencil,  and the tile floor (in blue)

bit of a muddle of a page  and it felt forced in the end!

for the first time in a while, there was sun at Kew on Saturday!

and the magnolias were looking marvellous!

it's hair cut and colour day after work so if I don't get to you early or at lunchtime i'll be late!
Happy WOYWW

Ourmagnolia is not even showing signs, its colder up north I guess.
Love your journal page - it reminds me of your visits to Kew.
Have a good week ahead

Oh yes Spring is definitely about, lots of blossom around if it gets a chance with this awful weather. Some of the local roads were borderline flooded yesterday, the drains couldn't cope! Blue sky please!!
Given your comments I can't help thinking the words on your page are a bit tongue in cheek. Made me smile anyway. Have a great week, love n hugs Cindy xx #6

Our magnolia is bright pink and certainly coming in to flower, and I can see it out my window as I type. I do wish it were more fully Spring. Warmer weather means an open window so Poppy is free to go in and out of her cage-catio! I get you on the page. I feel very out of practice so some of my pages have not been as I imagined in my head!
Happy WOYWW!

Spring seems to be coming and going here but there are signs of it again today. I had to get some more Dina W. stencils but not played with them yet as I've been doing other stuff which you'll see soon. Have fun at the hairdressers and a lovely woyww. Hugs Angela x12x.

A lovely journal page, there’s something a bit like Drlft pottery about it. Our neighbour’s magnolia is just buds at present. The Kew ones look magnificent! So glad the sun peeped through for your visit. Spring definitely seems to be springing!
Take care and happy WOYWW

I LOVE your page with the bold leaves/branches and your Magnolia blooms? Wow! I see them around in my neighbourhood but they only show buds... can't wait to see them in full glory in about a week or so? Have a nice day and a lovely visit at the hair dresser. Love from the Netherlands, Marit #15

Our Stelata magnolia has just come out. It's cool wet and breezy so I doubt the blooms will last long. Lovely Kew pics. That blue page looks good to me. x x Jo

Oh the mask element of the stencil is cool, love the blue on the yellow background, it doesn't look forced to me, good job. Hugs BJ#3

I dunno, you collage artists work so hard on layers and colours and then it feels forced! The whole process feels like that to me! I see no signs of force and I do love the colours abit of blue and white is vey fresh. Are we at last coming under the influence of spring!!
