WOYWW 759

It's time for WOYWW  - It's beginning to look a lot like......

well I suppose Christmas... cards are posted (meant to photograph the pile waiting to take to the post box.. forgot)

haven't wrapped the presents, so can't share them....

Went to the office Christmas party... Neet wanted party pics... I can't copy the group photo of us that was shared on FB and the photos I took didn't come out very well...  so here's the link to the FB post I shared on my page.. hopefully (it worked on my Kew post so hopefully it will again here but if not the link to the Kew post is below) it was a James Bond themed evening at Epsom Downs racecourse  so nice and local,  and great fun.

before we left the office we had a quiz and exchanged our Secret Santa gifts - this was mine.

having finished with Christmas cards there was a bit of time to play in a journal again without feeling guilty!

first layer, some of Dina's collage tissue,

some red paint (Paperartsy, translucent so the tissue peaks through)
smudged some whiteish paint (also Paperartsy )

and then I ran out of time/inspiration....

Kew on Saturday after the party was a good dose of fresh air... not that I was hung over, i don't drink a lot...

good to see some early snowdrops - always new growth in evidence!
Whatever you do at Christmas I hope you spend it with people you love (or if it's family, people you tolerate... joke!) and eat, drink and be merry!   I am going to my brother's and it's always lovely for someone else to cook!
Happy WOYWW,  Happy Christmas and see you next week!

Happy WOYWW - and Merry Christmas. I do miss an office Christmas party. Used to organise them in my last 'proper' job, which I left in early 2003! We had a team of over 60 from all over the UK, so a lot of organising, which started in June. We go out for lunch at a local hotel, so no cooking/shopping/clearing up. Definitely takes a lot of stress away. Ali x #13

Glad you had a good time at the party, the Facebook link worked fine for me. I’m not sure what your secret Santa gift was.
Thanks for sharing your Kew photos. It’s lovely to see their snowdrops flowering already! The orchids were beautiful too.

I'm late calling in cos I had a surprise customer this morning who wanted 7 memory bears making before Christmas!!! Hense I've been head down sewing all day and hope to finish them off tomorrow as I am out tonight at Sam's singing concert [He's singing a duet with a little 9 yr old little girl so will be taking my tissues ].
I'm doing a flying visit today to wish everyone a very happy Christmas. Hope to 'see' you all after the festivities.

Nearly lost my morning cuppa reading 'or if it's family - people you tolerate'. LOL. Sorry I'm late, popped out yesterday morning and don't know what happenned after that ... day disappeared. Had a quick peep at your party photos - don't you scrub up nice, very glam!! So nice to see the guys in suits too, so rarely happens these days. I'm just trying to reach guilt free playing stage... I'm done, but there are one or two little things I should really sort - like making the sausage rolls!! Normally we've eaten 2 batches and the freezer is full by now. Maybe later, doesn't sound like it's gonna be a nice day to do much outside today. Anyhoo, thank you for my card and hope you have a great Christmas, whoever you are with!! Merry Christmas, love n hugs Cindyxx #10

Popping over to wish you a Happy Christmas Helen the pop of pink in your journal is very Dina with the collage paper. I get very little blogging time now so it's always nice to see what others have been creating.
Wishing you a magical day whatever you are up to take care Tracey xx
P.S Lovely to see those early snowdrops x
