WOYWW 753

Welcome back deskers, it's Wednesday again, can only mean it's WOYWW

I set to with the masterboards at the weekend and cut some of them up ready for Christmas cards,...

had a good old rummage through the boxes of card blanks, for the right shades for the masterboards..

cut out the matching coloured greetings...

and then thought, no, mount them up and get some finished!

still got quite a few masterboards to cut for the next series...

Kew on Saturday was wet to start with but not for as long as the forecast said, and actually turned out to be lovely!
it was still raining whilst I was taking this
but an hour or so later, just look at the blue sky!

(this is the alpine house)

the only trouble with the big Kew umbrella is it is so cumbersome!  Does make a handy walking stick though!

Thanks for visiting, I'll catch your desks soon.

Happy WOYWW

Look at you batch card making - it all sounds rather organised. Yes it did turn out nice, and there has been a bit of sunshine the last few days (sadly not enough to dry the washing!! I used to have a big umbrella that had a sort of long strap from handle to point so you could have it on your shoulder. Allowed you to be hands free but still cumbersome and unpredictable in tight spaces. Can't recall quite how it worked when you wanted the umbrella up though...... Have a great week, love n hugs Cindy xx #5

That umbrella in shadow looks like a lethal weapon! fab pic of the colours against the evergreens...your imaginative eye never ceases to make me catch my breath! And s for that batch of cards from masterboards...I'm green eyed and want to call you out for something, but of course I don't know what!! They all look fab, and I'm impressed that you willed yourself into mounting and finishing them rather than just leaving them as kits because now of course, you have time!!

Those master boards are fab and have made for great cards, well done for being resilient and ploughing on to get the cards finished! I’m the same with sewing, often I feel like leaving it but know it’ll be better to get something completed! Great Kew pics again, love the colours of those leaves.

Such pretty colours in your cards, they look ever so lovely. I bet Kew is wonderful at this time of the year when it wears its autumn mantel.

I've just got into making master boards, it wasn't long ago when I'd never heard of them-all thanks to Ceri the Crafter. They are such fun. I did a washi tape one and scanned it in to make a foreverfreebie. So impressed when Suze made a card using it! Sorry I'm soooo late. it was my mouse, it had no curser! I mean....what else can go wrong!!? I'm using my very old Harry Potter mouse now, so fingers crossed, that I can get round everyone! Have a happy WOYWW week ((Lyn))#17
