WOYWW 725

Hey there deskers, it's Wednesday - again!  The last one of April - another month just about gone - already! The day we meet at Julia's to share crafty spaces.

I've done even less this week than previous weeks..

what was intended to be the background for another birthday card

various pinks/purples and some stamps by Seth Apter for Paperartsy...

Haven't decided what to do with it yet... Will probably get a stamp in contrasting grey or black and then cut up...

BT sorted the work IT issues around 5.45 last Wednesday  just as I was packing up to go home...fingers crossed been ok since.

Saturday was of course, happy place Kew...

captured on the job (!) by my mate Kim...

thanks for stopping by, I'll see you soon.

Glad the IT issues have been resolved Helen. Love that background. Glad it stayed dry for you at Kew - long may that continue. Stay safe and Happy WOYWW. Sarah #4

Hi Helen, I have times like that but it will come to you how to finish it and if it doesn't just turn the page and start the next one. Nice photos too. Have a lovely creative woyww. Hugs, Angela x8x

Lovely colourful background, and I'm sure you will find a way to use it - it may take years but I usually do manage it in the end, and you are way better than me in using stuff! I'll bet that pavement was cold - what you do for your photos. You amaze me!
Happy WOYWW (back to being on time!)

The background is great, I think dark grey or black will look fab against it.
Love the action shot - well worth the contortions for the stunning images you achieve!
Hope you have a great week,

What a superb photo of you!! Now we know what you get up to lol
I have found a beautiful camera of Peter's while clearing out . . . Cannon, very heavy and several lenses. . . could use the camera but not in that position!
Loved all the blossoms photos this week, really is a happy place.
Take care and have a good week

Aren’t tulips amazing? I love the colours so much from the palest to deepest purple, gorgeous! Love the action shot of you too, photos always look better from a different perspective than eye level!

I love to think of Kew as your happy place. The tulips in the meadow were my favourite today. Is the silver daisy bush outside or in a conservatory? It was interesting reading about Minerva Hoyt and the Glastonbury thorn, too.
Take care and happy WOYWW

Very pretty background page! I love making cards with just the backgrounds, then coming back later when I'm actually making a card and choose one. It makes things much easier! The 2 cards on my blog were done that way! Beautiful Kew flowers, I love the one that kind of looks like a fluffy daisy! Have a great week, Lindart #23

Evening Helen, I'm a bit late but because I haven't been around for months I'd forgotten how to do things! (Small brain) love the photos...now, if I get down that low, I'd have a job to get up again! Happy WOYWW ((Lyn)) #22

I think you need to take a rolled up yoga mat with you, so when you’re erm, on the job, there’s some level of protection from the cold hard ground! I love the pictures, but I’m very much mindful of how ‘comfortable’ I’d be in those positions! Great pictures this week!
Really like the masterboard type work there, lovely colours. If I wasn’t doing the WOYWW ATCs I’m not sure I’d have done much this week. Some weeks/months are just like that aren’t they.

Hi Helen, that’s a lovely background. your photographs are beautiful as usuaI, I love that silver daisy bush. I like to get down to take low flowers, not so easy getting up again though! Happy WOYWW. Angela #16

You've filled me with envy. Why you ask? Because of the last photograph. How I wish I could get down on the floor and get back up like you obviously do when taking photos of your flowers. Old age stinks at times!
OK so you didn't achieve much on the crafting front, but that is a nice background to set you off this week.
Hugs, Neet xx

Hi Helen, thank you for your lovely comment earlier, it was much appreciated. I like your background piece ... it will make a fabulous card. Love the photos from Kew, especially the one of you caught in action! Have a lovely week. Hugs, Elizabeth x #24

Oh my, my email comment notifications didn't work at all on Wednesday so I thought I had no comments, came to have a look today and have loads!

Spent most of Wednesday trying to sort my glasses out. Had to go back to Boots as my prescription was wrong, the optometrist sorted it out and apologised however the staff on the desk were horrid so I've emailed customer support, glad I took my husband with me this time to see what they were like.

The mail order company I used for my new lenses have just received them back, no idea what they will charge to update them but they will still be cheaper than Boots!

Love the pink and purple sheet, my favourite colours. Your closeup flower is exquisite, although the one of you taking a close up is by far the most amusing :)
