WOYWW 679

Welcome to another WOYWW  - Wednesday already! Time to head to Julia's the Stamping-Ground to see what everyone's been up to..

not very much here, is the answer, so much for  a 4 day weekend for the Queen's Platinum Jubilee and "I'll have time for crafting"  ha ha.   I spent most of the 4 days glued to all the official events on TV,  and loved every minute of it.  Not least seeing the adorable 4 year old Prince Louis being - a 4 year old!

I did start a page in the new Kraft journal, I love the large size

tried out a couple of the new gloss paint sprays, and some images I'd stamped (mostly on the collage tissue paper)

so yes, that is the sum total of my 4 day holiday

I had a wet trip to Kew on Saturday -  needless to say the sun came out as soon as I decided to head home...

I am hoping for better weather this weekend,  which would be nice.

Thanks for looking,  I will be round to visit soon.  Milk and one sugar, please and thank you

Happy WOYWW

Those new paints sound interesting Helen. Fingers crossed the weather improves, still can't believe our luck having such a beautiful day for the Wedding Thursday.

At least the weather held off for the celebrations though it did rain here on Sunday but then stopped in the afternoon. I've got some plain rice paper that I bought recently but not tried it out yet, must have a go stamping on it. Loving your first page in the new journal and look forward to more. Wishing you a happy woyww. Hugs, Angela x13x

Beautiful photos. We did have SUNSHINE today and no wind so I was happy to take advantage of a walk/outside weeding. It was so cool 2 days we turned the furnace back on. a DUST storm and WINDS just the worst spring I ever remember. Have fun with your journal

Oooh, I love that last pic so much, just like a summer meadow, so pretty! I like your journal page too, there are times when it’s ol to do something else than craft, it really was a historic few days.

Sorry I have not been to your latest Kew post yet. I've actually been gone. I wanted to let everyone know, I am the most unlucky person on WOYWW today. After linking, I was kicked offline due to an electricity outage. When it came back on, I saw my entire city is now required to boil water for the next 24 hours due to a water break. I wanted to quickly explain so everyone didn't think I had forgotten to visit. Storms still raging overhead, so I am copying and pasting this message in case I get caught offline again. Happy WOYWW from # 1.

I'm rather late in the day with my visits because I've been head down sewing all morning but I'm here at last
Glad you enjoyed the jubilee weekend...we did too especially little Louie's antics and of course Padington's.

I think the Jubilee had the same effect on me too - LOL. More TV less crafting. Love your page though definitely a jubilee colour theme running through that one BJ#18

I think you did well, I managed to kiss a lot of the tv celebrations because I was out celebrating and I didn’t so much as think about crafting…..so a journal page is a big win! Love the text you’ve put at the bottom. Can’t promise the weather for Kew…was watching lunchtime weather and it was being explained that it’s all coming in from the Atlantic without jet stream influence. Doesn’t sound too good to me!

You were unlucky to get the worst of the weather last Saturday Helen, it turned out OK later as I recall. Feeling better today, at least the brain seems to be functioning - have made 3 decisions already this morning. Have you and Julia made any decisions yet about crop? Have a good week, love n hugs, Cindy #22

Hi Helen!
Glad you enjoyed watching the Jubilee celebrations! We saw the antics of that cute little 4 year old as well! Future King! The flowers at Kew are glorious, even in the rain! Thanks for your visit, sorry I'm so late! Lindart #24

Minimal comments as I wrenched my back :(
so I am late AGAIN…

Love the journal page and the photos. You should do the Flower Magic freebie class. I have made the journal and just need to pick some flowers, insert them, then steam (!) the book... But Kew might not approve of the picking, so you would need another source!
