WOYWW 676 - the birthday edition

well deskers, here we are - week 676, 13 years old! What's On Your Workdesk? Wednesday (a birthday deserves the full name I think)  Huge thanks as always to Julia for starting and keeping this going for so long and to all of you for your friendship over the years, be it real or virtual. You are a cracking bunch of ladies!

I got a batch of 12 atcs made for swapping, I have 11 to swap (I remembered I need one to keep for myself)  so that's my partner,  Julia, Jan, plus Annie and Jo who have already offered to swap -  so by my reckoning another 6 so if you'd like to swap leave me a message (hoping blogger allows them after last week losing some of mine)

I'll get them off tomorrow as long as I have your address as I don't have email on my phone so won't be able to sort them till I get home from work..

I'll share a peak of the backgrounds only not the whole thing to keep them a surprise for the recipients and then show the finished atcs next week

they were cut from a masterboard I made months ago and which has been gathering dust ever since!

they -loosely - fulfil the "connections" theme as the images are connected (can you tell I was lacking in ideas?!)

nothing else to share today so I'll leave you with the link for Kew from last Saturday which was fabulous as always

In case you missed these from FB -
a huge batch of baby geese - we counted 25 or 26 all with just 2 adults... what a brood to care for

Thanks for looking,
will be round to visit soon as I can
Happy WOYWW and here's to year 14.

I only created two ATCs. One for my PIF partner and one for Julia. Sure like the background you chose, though. No number yet, but I'm hoping to be in the top five or so.

No ATCs for me Helen as I have none to swap so wouldn't be fair. Hope to see you in October at the crop though so I can swap a tag. Stay safe and Happy WOYWW. Sarah #3

So, can the impossible happen Sunday I wonder!

Those baby Geese are amazing, are the Canada Geese? We have a large flock on them living on a nearby lake and they fly over in numbers to another in the next village, making a heck of a noise as they go.

Happy Anniversary WOYWW. I would love to swap an ATC with you. Just realised I need to make a list of who I am sending to, or I will definitely forget. We get geese on a small lake/large pond on the farm, but not heard them for a while. Ali x #8

Hi Helen, Happy WOYWW Anniversary. How marvellous to see a gosling “creche”. The Daily Mail had an article that said there were two geese looking after 40 goslings1. Apparently geese will steal other goslings if they feel the parents are not up to the job! 25 is a bit ambitious! I had difficulty with the theme as well. Angela #13

oh Poo....I wasn't sure we were showing them or not, and not being able to 'get in' anywhere to see what others were doing I made, the decision to show....I do have back up photo so I might...#swap' them with those pictures, but knowing blogger it will take tooooo long to 'connect' !! Whatever you do will be fabulous, so I'm definitely up for a swap. Happy SWAPPING WOYWW!? ((Lyn)) #21

I love the little goslings - 25 or 26 is a heck of a lot of look after. I'm off to look at Kew soon but am so behind I need to get visiting desks - this could be a two or three day job I'm thinking!!
Happy 13th Anniversary,

I'm so late getting on the bandwagon - been actually MAKING the ATCs this morning but I'll take a swap if you have a spare at this late stage. Saw your duckling photo at the weekend - just amazing!! Also thought I have never seen goslings before (though there's enough of those geese everywhere!! Happy Anniversary, Cindy xx #12

Good grief, that’s a squadron of geese! Cute aren’t Your ATC arrived, thank you so much…hey, you’re quite right you are part of a super bunch of women. I have an idea for the crop…I’m going to find an air BandB for the Friday and Saturday night if you’d like to join me? I’ll be driving up on the Friday, could take you with me, collect you from a station…all the normal ideas! Meanwhile, loving the connectivity from your master board. I honestly think it was the hardest (stupidest) theme I could have suggested!!

Hi Helen, yes nice to be back. Like your loose ATC theme for connections. Mine was a bit like that too, so I had to explain it in a note for my recipients - LOL. I was a bit late to the party so only made 3, so only 2 to SWAP. One for my PIF and one for Julia of course.
Love the purple Allium photo. I have a few in the garden. Saw them in the garden of remembrance when I went to remember my Dad some years ago so they are really special to me. Our church has lots too.
Sorry I'm so late, I seem to get busy Wednesday's through the weekend....
Happy very belated WOYWW Anniversary BJ#18

Hi Helen, happy belated 13th anniversary! Sorry I'm so late - having to spin too many plates right now. Your masterboards are always lovely. As are your Kew photographs. Elizabeth x #26
