WOYWW 570

Morning deskers... Another Wednesday, another day in lockdown... Time to share our crafty spaces once again with Julia and the gang at the Stamping-Ground...

Thank you all for your sympathy over the phone mis-hap!  Luckily:

all is fixed and working!

I am sure you're not surprised that my screen saver is Kew!

also, the goodies arrived last week too...

and I used one of them on a birthday card
(I know,another one!)

I made a background using Seth's stamps for Paperartsy (most of them are his mini designs, but the cross is from the big set )

and then added some die cut flowers

I need to get this written and in the post in the next few days

Julia is also thinking about the WOYWW 11th anniversary - her post here
in case you missed it has some ideas.

Now to find a project to work on!

Till next week, happy WOYWW, stay safe!

Morning Helen. So glad your phone is up and running again. They might be talking about easing lockdown, but who knows... we might be in this situation for some time yet! More projects finished wouldn't be so bad would it?? I'm loving that background - both the one on your phone, and also the one for the birthday card. It's gorgeous. Well done.
Take care of yourself. Stay safe. God bless.

Love the new goodies Helen and that background is lush. It sets off the silhouette of the flowers on the card perfectly. Glad your phone is back and fully working again. Stay safe and happy WOYWW. Sarah #5

Now I could make good use of those new goodies too Helen, what fab sets WoywW can be a dangerous game when fellow bloggers share goodies like these. Looking with one eye again!! Fabulous card, how striking do those white flowers look against your background. Happy WoywW & yes I need to make some space on my desk for sure, so difficult whilst sharing it with my Daughter right now.
Stay Safe ((Hugs)) Tracey xx

Glad to hear your phone is OK again, and how lovely to put Kew on it as the screen saver! Lovely picture with the magnificent glass house and all the pretty flowers. I hope it isn’t too long before you can stroll among them again. I have never been to Kew but reading your posts over the years, almost feel as though I had. Your background is just gorgeous with that juicy colour, and what a beautiful card you made. The new stash made me smile because the third one looks like Coronaviruses!!!

Happy WOWW,

Happy WOYWW. I bet you are missing Kew. It would be wonderful to walk around there now, with fewer planes going over and no crowds. Love the card. Given me an idea for a scrapbook page. Ali x #13

Yep, you may not have mentioned the word itself, but this is enabling in all its glory!! I’m frightened of the style of the stamps until you use them, that background is a gorgeous foil for the wild flowers. I omitted to say about the UFOs for week 572....you don’t need to do more than one (!), and don’t forget to take before and after photos to show us! Presumably if you go into the office it’ll be staggered days so that you can all keep your distance? I don’t know, but all of a sudden this talk of lifting the lockdown has me wondering what I’ve done with the time. You have to contemplate your commute and that routine again....good thing it’s now summer daylight hours. If you can resist going back for a while, it would help me feel you are still safe.....

That is a nice card Helen, I would never have thought of using that stamp like that. I need to look at my stuff again obviously.
Glad the phone is sorted, life without it sucks.

Well done that local shop for fixing your phone so quickly! I don't know how I'd do without mine now. Like the birthday card, the bold colour for the background and die cut all work really well!

Morning Helen, am enjoying seeing your FB Kew posts that pop up on my feed. Nice goodies, and you've made a lovely card. I love those flower die cuts - so useful!! Read somewhere you might be going back in to work but I personally hope we have another couple of weeks before they start relaxing too much. Stay well, stay safe, Happy WOYWW Cindy #18

Lovely card Helen, and always fun to receive new stuff. Although in the last couple of weeks I have had an issue with most online orders. Of course Covid 19 blamed for every mishap. Stay safe and good to see you are able to keep the Kew connection happening via your phone.

Thanks for your visit, Helen, and I'm glad you liked my paper towel backgrounds. If you keep several going and make sure you use matching colours to your work, they don't turn to mud. I've got a pizza box full of them now and every now and then I get them out and stroke them! I should start using them...

I'm glad to see you are still managing to craft, I didn't know about your phone mishap but i'm glad you've got it sorted and no it doesn't surpise me that your screen saver is Kew gardens.

Loving the new crafty goodies I keep thinking I should treat myself as I'm not exactly spending a lot, but I keep window shopping or filling a basket and then deciding against it - I'm a nightmare lol

Have a great weekend

Hi Helen
I'm really late getting round this week, really sorry. The beautiful weather distracted me.
I'm glad you got your phone fixed and I see you have those TH wild flower die, that's a beauty isn't it, one of my favourites.
Doesn't look like so much will change after the news today, will you have to go back to work? My Sister has been told she must work from home until at least 9th July. She works for an Insurance Co.
Hope you are having a good week. Take care

Sorry for my (very) late visit, time seems to speed even in lockdown! I love those Seth-stamps, I myself have two little sets but am always drooling over his stamps when I see those (not much budget to buy though...) I love how you created that card! Have a nice week dear one, stay safe! Love from Holland. Marit #25
