WOYWW 562

I am aiming for Shaz's Enabling Crown today.... welcome to another instalment of WOYWW with Julia and the Gang

I gave you the head's up last week ...

enabling  1

then there was

enabling 2

some lovely new green paint colours

that would be enough for anyone, you might think.

but this is me,  so

there was also

enabling 3

I think this is better stockpiling than some of the appalling reports we've seen of supermarket shelves bare of some essentials.

If we all get to self isolate from coronavirus, maybe I'll have time to play!

Whilst I was able to I went to Kew on Saturday (and intend to again this weekend)  there was beauty all around
Happy WOYWW !

Certainly better to stockpile art supplies than deprive people of essentials unnecessarily Helen. Great new stash. Happy WOYWW. Sarah #?

They are rather lovely wild animal stamps and of course you need so many greens. That magnolia is a real beauty.

Hi Helen, I'm early this morning but no sign yet of Julia so thought I'd catch up with you. I'm loving those Eclectica stamps and might just have to look for those. Have a lovely creative week, Angela x?x

More shopping and lovely it is too. I am looking forward to seeing that gorgeous giraffe used in either a card or a journal page before too long, he looks magnificent! The green will be useful for the background to him too.
Hugs Neet (no no yet) xx

I have a feeling that self isolation to a craft person really isn't punishment....I just know I would find plenty to keep me busy :-)

Hi Helen the Enabler, nice looking stash you have there. I like the Versafine Clair inks, probably my favourites actually. If we did have to self isolate, then I would be working rather than crafting, but at least I wouldn't have a commute, so that would free up a bit of time! Have a lovely week Heather xx #21

Hi Helen. I don't think you would have any problem being in all by yourself, with just your art supplies to keep you company for two weeks!! Loving that magnolia. I haven't been across the valley to Bodnant yet this season - but I gather it is full of colour. I did travel along the A55 trunk road to Angelsey the other day - and there are thousands of daffodils all out along the central reservation. Amazingly beautiful.
Take care. God bless.

Fabulous stamp sets - I'm totally smitten with the Giraffe and insects - I can't resist anything with beetles and bugs on!
The blossom on that Magnolia is gorgeous - I'm off to Kew now!
Have a great week,

I wholeheartedly agree with your stockpiling philosophy, Helen! Love your enabling for this week, especially the first lot of stamps which look amazing. The new green paints are lovely shades, too. Happy creating! Thanks for your visit and I'm glad you enjoyed seeing the kitties when they were such wee babies. As for the Celtic knots, I doubt if you would have thrown them across the room - you come over as a very patient and organised artist! I am quite sure you would have persevered too.

Happy WOYWW,

exactly! I was amazed at how empty the shelves are but like you I have enough craft stuff to stay in for a week or two and just play away! I bought some new paints that I am excited to try...they are shiny! Have a great week. Vickie #26

Hi Helen. What a lovely array of green paints. Some gorgeous shades there. It must be the Kew influence!
Although I'm sure we're all hoping it doesn't get to the point where we have to self-isolate I know I'd also be welcoming the opportunity for some guilt-free, uninterrupted crafting time too! Have a lovely week.

I agree, I would much rather stock up on stamps and ink than toilet paper! I love the stamps you chose, especially the first set! The flower is beautiful, I can't wait for flower season here!

Thanks for your visit, I think I have fixed the photos on the blog (I just replaced them all), have a great week! Lindart #20

Hi Helen. Thanks for your message this morning. How strange....I can only see the first pic on my blog on my iPad but they are all there on the laptop. I guess there’s a little gremlin at work somewhere in the system.

Definitely the kind of stockpiling I can get on board with! Those new HP stamps are fab, and I'm going to NEED the new greens, for sure. Hope you're having a great week and a safe Friday 13th!

Glorious magnolia there Helen let's hope they don't stop us travelling round to see these lovelies - like Margaret, I fancy a ride over to see the beauties at Bodnant gardens. xx Jo

Oh look, you were at mine exactly as I was over at yours (the Kew posts anyway)... serendipity and springtime in the face of sadness!

Helen, you are being naughty! But, we crafters love it! Those green paints look so lovely. I can't wait to see what project you create with them.

It's been a crazy few days. My boy's school is closed until April 7th and today we went to his school so they could pick up any books they left at school. His school is going to attempt an online classroom. I hope they figure something out so the kids don't lose valuable school time.
Stay healthy and keep creating my friend!
