Paperartsy are launching new products again this week and some shopping has been done - and even delivered!
I also bought a tub of modelling paste in clear (they didn't have white) which I needed.
There is another order in progress too....
Of course I paid another visit to Kew on Saturday but also had a day with my cousin on Monday (as I don't go back to work till 2nd, Thursday) and visited the woods she likes so much (here)
I've also managed some crafting - it's my brother's birthday on Monday (he won't see this) so have made him a card
I'm writing this on Tuesday evening ahead of the New Year fireworks although they're going off already round here.

Love those gift wallets, and it looks as though you got a nice haul of gifts yourself. Did you know you can create a sort of faux-encaustic with the clear modelling paste? I saw Andy Skinner demonstrating it on youtube once upon a time, and then the clear paste was delayed in production. Hope you had a lovely time at Kew... I'll be catching up with that soon. I'm still in Christmas hibernation (don't come out fully until after 12th Night on 6th January!), but am trying to do a bit of catching up with people even so. Happy New Year!

Loving the wallets, great idea. I'm sure that if you mix a bit of white acrylic paint in the clear modelling paste it would work just as well if you need to it before the new one arrives. Loving the pressies just surprised the chocolate is still in the packet Lol! if it was mine it would be gone. I love Hotel Chocolat. Nice stencil too. Happy New Year, Angela xXx

The wallets are a great idea, Helen. Well done you! You had a nice lot of presents. Thank you for your visit - lol at your comment re the meat! I was wondering if I would miss the turkey this year, but funnily enough, I really didn't. The jackfruit has an incredibly meat-like texture. Normally I wouldn't eat stuff that's trying to be like something non-vegetarian but I thought for Christmas it was a good turkey substitute! My hubby really enjoyed it too, and we were both very impressed with the recipe. I haven't eaten meat for months now, and I don't miss it at all.
Hope you had a lovely Christmas, and a very happy New Year to you and yours, and happy creating in 2020! I agree, it only seems like yesterday that we were worrying about the Millennium Bug.
