WOYWW 550

What a lovely round number - welcome along for another WOYWW - time to share our crafty spaces once again; Julia has the link as always .   Bit weird to think this time next week it will be Christmas...

There has been some more enabling (although I seem to have double clicked on one of the stamps and got two ...
sent in a nice festive sparkly envelope (Country View's advent of course)

the "special" cards got made and posted without being photographed for posterity... it's only now that I realised that!

I do have one though, that hasn't been sent in the post  as it's for my brother and his family and I'll be passing it over in person, at some stage.

Not sure yet if I'll be seeing them on Christmas Day itself or before to hand over presents,

background is distress oxide sprays, with JoFY stamps and glitter...

I tried hard to capture a picture of my Christmas decorations without too many reflections in the window of the room, but it has proved impossible.

it's just not the same without the lights on in daytime!  It is also remarkably similar (i.e the same) as last year!

Of course I toddled off to Kew last Saturday - it was a gorgeous day!

I will be late visiting today as I am unlikely to get time at work (during my lunch break of course) as we are having our Secret Santa distribution with food and drink!

See you soon!

I've done that double click thing myself and received more than one of the same but when it's a bargain it's not so annoying. What ever you chose to do next week Happy Christmas Helen, just incase I don't get chance to wish you well next week, have a fabulous time. Happy WoywW Tracey #5

Morning Helen. I like the card for your brother - fun! The decorations are great - I think the tall jar that looks like a tree is particularly striking. Well done.
Take care. God bless.
Have a truly beautiful Christmas.

Lovely sparkly envelope from Sue and even lovelier things inside it. By the time I found out about the Advent Sale I had missed out on the PaperArtsy.
That is a lovely card for your brother and don't tell me about not photographing things and sending them before you realise - a mistake I make time and time again.
Enjoy your Secret Santa and don't forget to show us what you got - plus any photos of the party I am sure you will have. Your place of work fascinates me, what a fantastic boss you have.
Hugs, Neet 11 xx

I didn't do many decorations this year as I will be alone. I put a wreath on the door and a center piece on my table and called it Merry Christmas! Sending Christmas wishes to you!

Very pretty decorations, Helen, and what a huge difference it makes, with the lights on at night. Your special card is beautiful too.

Thank you for your visit and I'm so glad you like my Tudor gown! If you pop back, I have just updated the photos with better ones that a friend took this afternoon, complete with the jewellery I wore. I was so pleased to have finished it all in time and also very pleased with the result generally - I did get some good comments at the banquet! I am thrilled with the shawl my friend gave me - I was completely bowled over when she handed it over! Yes, the bladder meeting makes a lot more sense now - a good idea, to enable those who do need extra help to get it more quickly. I am glad I went, and from now on we'll have to see how I get on and whether I shall need to go back.

Have a lovely Christmas and happy WOYWW,

Thank you for taking the time to revisit my blog to see the updated photos, Helen. I'm glad you liked them! My friend has just emailed me the photos she took of us before we set off for the banquet, and I'll try and remember to post those next week.

Excellent choice of minis and a fabulous starry card. I'm sure the other special cards will be much appreciated by the recipients, even if you didn't manage to record them for posterity! Your festive window looks great. I've been baking Christmas biscuits today and have the tree to do tomorrow (usually wait until the 23rd, but there's other stuff going on then, so Sunday it is). Off to see what you've been up to at Kew.
