Hey there, another Wednesday's rolled around... time to meet up at Julia's again for WOYWW..
I promised you new stuff this week, but it's still not arrived (very unlike Country View Crafts, I guess she's very busy!) I do have new stuff though, that I forgot to show last week
some butterfly bits and bobs from The Works, nice and cheap and cheerful...
some are chipboard, there are some lace ones and some metal ones... they're now on the pile of other stuff there's nowhere else to store, till I decide what to do with them!
Another layer of gesso and stamping on the journal page too, but not a lot else to see today...
Hopefully next week the new stamps really WILL have arrived!
Have a great week - happy desk hopping.

Hi Helen, lots of new stash coming into the shops Lol! dare we look! On the few occasions I get to The Works I usually find something to play with and these are pretty. Hope your new stash arrives soon. Thanks for the visit to mine and happy woyww crafting, Angela x 17 x
I do like the butterfly items you purchased, especially the lace ones. Looking forward to seeing how you incorporate them in your journal. Love looking at all the amazing art supplies around your desk! #24
I do find The Works to be an absolute treasure trove sometimes. I must have at least four sets of their flat brushes (1.5", 1", 0.5"). At only £2 they are great for gesso and mod-podge. Happy WOYWW Sarah #29
Ah great start to your journal page there, Helen 😊 and the butterfly additions are grand too..
Thanks for sharing your inspiration!

Those metal butterflies are gorgous. And I'm afraid now to unmount my stamps,we'll see. Thx for your visit earlier, Vicky
Oh bother, STILL not made it to the WORKS and might just need one of those butterflies for my embroidery, one day, maybe tomorrow, who knows. BJ#23
oops nothing like waiting for the post person - like a watched pot that never boils- the postie knows you are wanting that stash and stays away...or it's just not got there yet! Dx #32

Lovely butterfly charms! Makes me think of summer, which right now is far far away, but thoughts of summer are always nice! Thanks for sharing, Lindart #43
Hi Helen, I've been picking up odds and ends from The Works, they have got such a lot, haven't they? Funny, I've found no real problem cutting mine, my 'Bug must just be the right tension for them.Quite a few on here have said they find it hard to get a good cut. Have a great week, Hugs, Shaz Xxx
The butterflies look great enjoy playing . Soojay 7
The Works is such an awesome shop - come to think of it, I don't know where the nearest one is to me now...to theInterwebs to find out!!

Can one ever have enough butterflies, Helen? What fun you will have with them all! I am still waiting for new stash to come, too, but I'm not worried as I'm not really well enough to use it yet anyway, and it is something nice to look forward to. Thank you for your comment which really made me smile - searching for invisible false nails lol!! I agree with you, they really don't show up, do they! I think the district nurse is pleased with me, and I think maybe tomorrow may be her last visit, if she thinks she can remove the dressing once and for all. Today is 5 weeks on from the operation and it's certainly taken its time to heal up properly but that's what chemo does to you...
Happy WOYWW,

At last, you've finally boroughs something that I don't need!!!! I don't seem to do butterflies, at least, not at all often. I know this is contrary to a lot of your visitors today, and I can't really say why. Odd innit. VIva la difference!
Happy Wednesday to you! Dorlene #42
Sorry I am so late - my back got the better of me.
Ooh, wondering now what you have bought from CVC! Look forward to seeing it next week - or sooner? Glad you had a little shop in the meantime, butterflies are always useful and they sound fab!
Hugs, Neet 14 xx
Ooh, look at all those butterflies... maybe they'd like to float around that fabulous green jungle page?! I'm sure the CVC stuff will arrive soon - they are incredibly good usually, aren't they?

The works is always worth a quick scoot round I find as you never know what you may find.
