WOYWW 404 when life gives you lemons..

There should be new stuff but it's still on the way, so it will be here next week...
(I did a bit of online ordering after getting home from the work office launch party on Friday!)
the launch went well, quite a few clients turned up, we drank champagne (hence the online shopping!) and ate canapes but stood for 7 hours on the Friday and another 4 on Saturday...poor feet!  poor legs!!

However, one of my crafting Facebook friends alerted us to a good deal on lemons at Morrisons (UK supermarket if you're from out of town)  - £1 for a kilo.... and they come in a fabulously sturdy box... she bought 3, several other of my friends have bought 3, 4 5 or more...look.  of course I don't really want the lemons, just the boxes!!

I was very restrained, only got the 1, (so far) as I don't use many lemons, and aim to do some decorating of them at some stage (was going to say, the weekend, but no doubt that won't happen!)
and once you take the lid off you can probably tell the size a bit better... (it held 6 lemons to give you more of an idea!)
and in case you were wondering, under the lemon box is another part done journal page (latest Paperartsy challenge topic, is infusions, so that's what I'm playing with here)

used a couple of the new colours that I got at Stevenage a few weeks ago.

thanks for your visits and I'll reciprocate when I can   nearly forgot the linky link

Nice green pages in your journal - will be watching for the next instalment!
Love the lemon box but I cannot justify 6 lemons or another box so I think I will decline.
Have a good week with not much standing this time.
Hugs & thanks for visiting me, Neet 2 xx

Morning Helen. Goodness - those lemons must have been huge.... enjoy them, even if you don't usually use many. After all, it was pancake day yesterday...
Take care. God bless.

I have been known to buy things for the containers rather than the contents too! That is a cute looking box, begging to be altered. Happy WOYWW Hope you're feet and lags are recovered soon. Sarah #24

I love the lemon box as well! If you squeeze the juice of half a lemon into a 1/4 cup of water, heat in microwave and drink first thing every morning it it supposed to help clean out and hydrate you. #23

That's a really good lemony deal! Shame I don't have a Morrissons near me, those boxes would be great for storing all my blasted toiletries. They are getting out of hand! Love the colours in your journal. Keep up the great work - EmbroidRage #3 x

That looks like a good size box and cheaper than going to buy a proper box!! You could always make homemade lemonade with them. Glad the launch went well. Tracy #27

Shame I don't live nearer, I'd have had those lemons off you to make a lemon drizzle cake :-D The box is great though and I can see why you wanted it - it'll be a lot of fun converting it into something!

Mmm-Lemon Chicken! Apparently you can freeze lemons! Looking forward to seeing what you make with the box! Sometimes my family laughs when I get a present and like the box or ribbon almost better then the gift! Thanks for sharing, Lindart #40

Ha! Just found these in Morrisons this afternoon - at 50p each I got 2 - we are in for a few Groundhog day pancakes I think! Love the journal page so far

I adore lemons in all different forms and would definitely go for these if I was able to get out shopping at the moment! So glad there's another mad person who buys stuff for the box rather than the contents! My hubby buys bird food in bulk for Mum, including great plastic boxes (nice and strong, with handles and snap on lids) full of fat balls. He puts the fat balls in carrier bags and gives me the boxes lol! I love your journal page - so fabulously grungy...

Thank you for your lovely comment. Certainly not your fault I ordered the Infusions - I've wanted them ever since I first saw them - same with the first set! I adore these paints. Also no need to apologise for late visit - as you have probably noticed, I'm always late! I enjoy comments throughout the week.

Happy belated WOYWW,
