WOYWW 359 - a little bit of this, a little bit of that..

Welcome back, another Wednesday has rolled around and we're gathering at Julia's to share our working spaces.
I have WIPs (work in progress) finished things (yes, really!) and new stuff...
First, the WIP   preparing a background for a just remembered in time birthday card.

hoping the recipient won't see it before Thursday (she reads the blog I think but doesn't comment so I won't know..)

my floor space yesterday, some altered playing cards (more WIPs) for a swap
you've not seen this view for a while,,, the pile under the window (that's my armchair) is growing.. one day I will sort it out.. and maybe move the boxes in front of it too.. just not sure where yet!
the finished thing (another card I just remembered in time to get in the post on Monday - 7 am crafting!)
and this, what you really want to see - the new stuff!

I bought a duplicate stamp set at Ally Pally so sent it back for a swap, and then was tweeting with a friend who mentioned having found some Seth Apter stencils and I went in search of some but found these instead!

Right, have taken too much of your time, I have a birthday card to write and get ready to post first thing Wednesday (today even, although I am of course writing this on Tuesday night!)

Thanks for all your comments last week - I think I got back to everyone, but there are a couple of you on Google Plus which I won't join, so can't comment back. I do read your posts though!

I always wondered what WIP stood for, now I know. What armchair hahaha? I have many hidden tables groaning under the weight of what I've put on them. Those are some gorgeous goodies you have there. Love the leave stencil

If you asked me (and I know you didn't) I think these stencils are better than the ones by Seth. Although I like one or two of his stencils, most are not my cup of tea. You got some wonderful things in addition to what you also picked up at Ally Pally.

Now I'm FINALLY off to see Kew. Talk about lack of time!

wow, you have some amazing supplies to play with. A lot of stuff on the ground, is that very practical to work I wonder? Happy WOYWW from Vicky #10

Yes I WAS far too excited. Tried to rectify the link via my tablet but that went wrong so had to get up and do it on the main PC. Looks like just the HTML at the end of the first link went to capitals for some reason as if you change that to lower case it works! What a pickle!
Gosh the stamp you swapped must have been a biggy, love the stencils. BJ was #4, then #16 finally #17 but may end up as #15 if my incorrect links are removed!

Well you win on the covered floor stakes today Helen, you've beaten me but only because I've just got another cabinet to put it in. Why oh why can't we throw anything away. Haha

Hi Helen more nice new stuff, love it though not sure where you will put it. I have decided I must get rid of or use up papers that I have had for years. Like you I usually make my own (the one above is gorgeous). Pleases let us see the finished card. Happy woyww, Angela x 25

Armchair? Where? One day I need to see this in the flesh - then I'll know I don't really have a problem!! However do you find anything LOL? I keep moaning to my daughter about the carrier bags I find with brand new clothes and shoes in, never worn, but honestly I've got all sorts of stuff I've never used yet. Maybe it was for the best I didn't get to AP!! Happy Wednesday, Cindy #29

Happy WOYWW and congrats on another No.1 spot. I thought I had a crowded craft/Tarot room, but I think you have more than my local craft shop! I would never leave it - and would be found half-starved but happily painting! I am in a constant, but slow, process of decluttering our house. Got a think about space around me now. Ali x #33

Hi Helen, yes you've enabled again! lol. I do like that hanging leaves stencil, and the trees one, so they are going on my shopping list for Port Sunny.
The easel was bought from The Works- it stands about 12" tall.Loving the colours in your masterboard.
Honestly Helen, you have no idea how much stuff she passed to me! It all began because I was making cards, and taking in to work to sell, and she thought I can do that, and promptly started buying pretty much everything advertised on Create & Craft! Then she'd come to work and ask me how to use something she'd bought, but couldn't remember what to do with it. Loads of the stuff she gave me have never even been opened.
Have a great week, Hugs, Shaz #8 xxx

Love the background. Wow that's quite a space. It looks so very busy and crafty! Love all your new goodies. I'm trying to be good and stay away from buying new things this month. I must confess to buying some new stuff but not as much as I have in the past lol.

Have a great week

And all the new stash is always exciting isn't it. I love the stencils. I have just bought some Micron pens too recently.
I spy some ATCs as well. I'm into ATCs at the moment. (first time) So I'm looking at everybody's ATCs.

Love that background, Helen, and also the beautiful card you made. Your creative space is certainly busy. Nice new stash too! Thank you for your lovely comment. Lol! Yes, I'll try my hand at most things! I did narrow boat painting a long time ago and need a refresher course, I think. I've got one or two more avenues to explore before looking for some Humbrol enamels. My hubby says he's only got red, which isn't terribly helpful especially as I'm painting on a red background!! I keep checking to see if the Infusions are available yet but so far no joy. I'm sure I'll get some eventually. I love their muted colours - less bright than Brushos.

Oh Helen, you do make me smile. How you can work on the floor is beyond me but then I have an old body which would not allow me to get down there and if I did I never would get up again. Love looking at your room but it is slowly but surely filling up. Now what will you do when the space you have disappears?
I think we need a section by section set of photos to appreciate what you have in your stash.
Hugs Neet 5 xx (late again this week- out all day yesterday)

Golly Moses - just imagine what treasures you'll uncover if/when you work your way back to the armchair one day!! Love the view of your workspace - everything to hand... though I still don't know how you avoid constant pins and needles.

Love the masks you got, they are great, make some super cards with those.
