WOYWW 293 (what's in the blue box?)

Hello and happy Wednesday - time for another leap round the world snooping  looking at people's workspaces for WOYWW?. Link up and check the desks here

Last week, someone asked what was in the blue box that is here at the back of my floor desk... I think I've shared it before, but if so it would have been a long time ago.

it's one of my overflow boxes of stamps (when I ran out of the drawer units that Ikea and the home store no longer do.)...a bit of a jumble -
just to tease you a bit there are some more overflow stamps in the bottom box here and the top one has all kinds of things - flowers, buttons, bits and pieces - will maybe open this one next week!

Did a bit of crafting at the weekend, made a start on my January birthday cards (which I can't share for now)
but also had to do a sympathy card which are always so hard.  used a light texture paste (from Finnabair, for Prima - love it!!) through a stencil, and a silvery gelato and a white (rather than black) ribbon and some paper flowers from my stash.

I'll leave you to get back off to Julia's to the rest of the desks, happy Wednesday.

What a lot in that overflow box. Do you remember what is in there and where has it overflowed from? You certainly look very busy in there and your cards are lovely. xxx

Holy cow. You have more stamps in that overflow box than I own. This is a wonderful assortment of goodies. I swear, if I could play in your space for even ONE day, I would be in hog heaven. You are SO lucky to have all these wonderful goodies to play with.

No number yet, but you know where to find me.

So you like the Finn stuff do you? I have still to buy some but am in a complete whirl as to which texture paste to buy, which Gesso to buy and so on - so many were recommended whilst I was over here. Maybe I should finish what I have at home first.
Now that you have revealed a box to us I think you should definitely do a box per week or month until we get to the end. Maybe you could make a calendar of each box over the year. Think that would be an achievement.

Lovely busy desk there! I have overflow boxes for my current items too - still end up in a mess though! Well done on making a sympathy card, I have never attempted one as I think they are too difficult! Have a great week - Sunshine Girl #13

I think you got that sympathy card spot on....I never know which to buy when those situations arise. And yet, it doesn't really matter what we choose/make, it really is the thought that goes with it, isn't it?
Your overflow box is amazing....do you know where every stamp is?

I couldn't cope with my stamps in a box like that it would drive me insane I have to know where everything is. Oh I would love to rumble in it and play though. Thanks for sharing

Oooo, so much stuff! One thing that caught my eye is that colourful drawer unit with your journal on top of it in the third photo. It looks yummy! I know what you mean about sympathy cards being hard. Thehite ribbon was a good choice - black would have been just too depressing. Wishing you a creative week! zsuzsa @ InkyDinkyDoodle #47

I saw the colourful drawer unit too and really like that, don't think I've spotted that before! I have that same Hero Arts set Poetic Trees on something like that, that's on top in your overflow box too. Nice to see your floor again, shame you have to make sympathy cards, I'll have one to make in a few days as a friends mum was transferred to a hospice last night, very sad.

Your sympathy card is beautiful, and a reminder that I want to get some made BEFORE I need them.

That sure is a lovely playground! Just thinking, you don´t seem to have any animals. My dog would go nuts of joy with all these lovely possibilities to create some doggie art.

Hi Helen, really pleased to see someone else with so many stamps, now I don't feel so bad.
Thanks for the visit, the iron doesn't damage the stamps because they are real rubber. You need to be careful which stamps you use for the technique.
Happy crafty week, Angela x 33

Wow! You must have so many stamps (mine fit in a shoe box)But thanks for letting us have a peep in your box as well as on your desk. Perhaps you can make it a regular feature as there are many more intriguing boxes to unvail/unveal (how do you spell that?)
Thanks for your visit and your kind comment,

Hello Helen,

That's a bit of overflow, I'd say! I'm just jealous, that's all. I noticed that you like keeping your magazines too. I have a couple of shelves of nothing but crafting magazines that I've bought.

Thanks for visiting me already!
Happy belated WOYWW
