WOYWW 130

Ok, Wednesday is here again... so we can all get together at Julia's place to snoop at one another's crafty spaces.... What have you got on your desk today? Do tell - and show....  Here's mine...

A Christmas present to myself - a bargain box of goodies from Lin at LB Crafts from her closing down sale... I am so going to miss Lin - I never got to see the shop in person but I have made up for it online and at shows; lol!  Now all I have to do is make myself not open this before the big day!!

Haven't bought any presents for anyone else yet, something else that needs to get done!!
Still busy with Christmas cards - this one  is with those lovely Tapestry stamps - I don't use them enough....
And these are stamps by Tim... I haven't counted up lately (it's not that many more than last week) but still have a lot to do - and Tim's "12 Tags of Christmas" starts on the 1st December - OMG that's tomorrow!!! - so I really want to play along with that.. there won't be enough hours in the day, lol.

I was looking for a purple card for a mount for a card tonight, why is it that the box you want is always at the bottom of the pile???!

Anyhow, do go over to Julia's and catch up on some more desks to see what everyone else is up to.

I used to store all my rubber stamps in shoeboxes and hardly used some of them as they were always at the bottom of the pile! have now moved on and removed them all from their wooden blocks and put them in folders so I am using them again now! I cant wait for tomorrow either - all that inspiration about to come our way whooo hoo! and well done about not sneaking a peek in that very tempting box - I think I would have caved in already! Thanks for sharing. Sunshine Girl – No 4

Not sure I visited last week. I had good intentions, but no time left in the day. I have noticed you British gals make a lot of square cards. Practically unheard of in the States. Love then both.

Hi there and thanks for the peek into your creative zone. It looks like there is loads going on so thanks for sharing. Hope you have a brilliant week and have plenty of creative time! Wrap the box in pretty paper and pop a big bow on it with a lovely pre Christmas tag on it and you may be less tempted to open it early!

Some really pretty cards! Oooh Christmas presents for yourself - the best kind!! I sent to C and C for part of mine of my DH and I am going to use it before the big day - please don't tell him!! x

I have one of those surprise boxes as well - arrived this morning at 7:45 but I had been up since 6:30 so that was OK. Mine is going to my sister's to wrap and give back to me on Christmas Day, that was she gets an 'easy' present idea and I get a surprise on the day so quids in.
Love the cards especially the TH one - obvious I need more Tim stamps.

Your desk looks busy and I think you are. It's always the same with these boxes and... when you start with the last one of a pillow you needed the first :-D It's sounds almost like a game.
The cards you've made are lovely. Have a nice and crafty week with the TH tags. xFranka #16

Don't you just love Tapestry Stamps? They're fab, aren't they?

And that's not fair - you can't tantalise us with a cardboard box and not show us what goodies you bought!

Thanks for stopping by! Morti #19

Thank you so much for your visit and your kind comments. The fridge cake is very yummy, but so sticky and rich that you can only eat a very small piece at a time. I love your cards especially the first one, it is just so pretty. I hope you are going to show us the contents of that box before too long. Maggie C #59

Oh that's so not right! Putting that bloody box on there without letting us see the contents!! Love the cards, I won a couple of set of Tapestry stamps on good ole ebay last week, got my eye on more I have to admit! Got my eye on your box too even though I don't know what's in it, it's bound to be good! Perhaps Tim will start off with a Christmas tree tag tomorrow, then you'll have one!

Hi Helen, what a great Christmas box to get yourself - something of a surprise to look forward to. Your cards are lovely - I like the garland effect on the first and the fir branch background on the second is gorgeous. I look forward to seeing your 12 TH tags - everybody seems to be preparing themselves this week. Elizabeth x #111

Very sad to hear of another craft shop closing down. Our local one is closing too - it was absolutely brilliant. I suspect that in addition to the awful state of the economy, more people are buying online and at craft fairs now, because it's cheaper and you've got so much more choice.

Nice Christmas cards! Happy WOYWW, Shoshi #62

Lovely cards and wonder what is in the box....

The coloured boxes are all cardstock? What a system..perhaps you should just give in and get the expedit fitted around 3 walls of your lounge so everything can be on show....oh blissful!!
Have fun with the 12 tags, will not be doing them myself, but do love to see everyone elses!

I have one of those presents to myself too - but a friend has it at the moment. Can't wait to get in it but like you am waiting until the 25th.
Lovely cards, I do like the second one, the colours are so subtle and misty almost.
