WOYWW 118 if my maths are right

Morning peeps! YAY I really AM on a week's holiday now!!! Whoo whoo whoo.... not got many plans, will wing it. Hope the weather is better than Tuesday though - don't mind if it's not hot, just dry would be helpful.  Thanks to a mention on twitter from Jo Firth-Young I am probably going to the Victoria & Albert museum today to see a new exhibition "Power of Making"
Oh, welcome to What's on your Workdesk Wednesday, I should have said! Check out some amazing desks shared by Julia

I am still prepping this on Tuesday night though, because I really hope I don't wake up at 5 in the morning (Memo to self, must turn off the radio alarm....)

Still haven't got any new stash (oh.... well.... there was ONE stamp I had to buy..... it's not here yet though.... so will keep it for next time!)
My ever-decreasing patch on the floor is quite empty today -some part done journal pages
and this is my Sunday Stampers challenge piece  for this week.

Keep your fingers crossed for some nice weather and I'll see you all later!

Let us know all about that exhibition -it does sound great. Pity it's such a long way away from Bolton. I also wonder how you cope crafting on the floor. I couldn't get down on my knees-well I might be able to but I would need a crane to get me on my feet-or two strong men. LOL Hugs BettyXXX

Love the things you are creating on your floor ???. That tag above is so so perfect for the song title. Now I have seen those flower trims but have not warmed to them ...now yours is the perfect use ...love it.

How do you do your crafting on the floor? Nutter!
Your tags are lovely. What is on at the V&A then? The only time I went there was the day John Lennon was murdered and I was on a school trip. My friend and I went to the costume section as the art thing was not as interesting! Oh! Sweet memories! Wish I was that age again. Look what you have done now!!

If I got down on the floor to craft I'd never get up, these old bones would complain forever - don't know how you do it! Love the V&A and took my kids there every chance I got when I lived in Wembley years ago. Have a great holiday weather notwithstanding :) Elizabeth x #50

Ah Helen well I know that you woke up early and linked over early cos saw your comment on Julia's blog - habits die hard... and love & A think if we love crafty and old things we always enjoy it - so much to look see and do, and love the way it interacts with you more than other galleries. As for working on the floor, the only time the floor and I meet is when I drop something on and then the greeting is not always the friendliest. :D Happy WOYWW, Shaz in oz.x

Actually I think Hels is right - bonkers!! And fancy forgetting the alarm..still, it's nice to have long days on holiday!! I was invited to a preview of the V&A exhibition but couldn't go on MOnday, never occurred to me to ask if anyone wanted to meet and go. Duh!

If I had to craft on the floor, my DH would have to call an ambulabe *OK, maybe the fire brigade with a crane!) to get me up agaim!
Love your pieces.
Happy WOYWW

Mmm, like the script stamp on your journal page! Am I to understand that you craft on the floor? That sounds horrendous - although come to think of it, it would be the perfect excuse for staying down there. 'I'm sorry, I just can't get up.' Would work here, anyway, kids would have no trouble believing I'm too old and stiff, lol!
