WOYWW 108

Happy Wednesday everyone!  Thanks for your birthday wishes last week - I spent a quiet day on Sunday not doing very much at all, but it was the way I chose it!

Got some fab cards from Carmen, Lynne (my SIL, who doesn't blog) and Hels. Thanks girls, appreciate them.
Sorry about the photo - they are still on display on the window cill!

Now, I don't have a lot else to show you - except a rather spectacular bruise on my knee - and if you are of a nervous disposition, look away now!

I did this on Friday or Saturday - kneeling on the floor crafting (as normal)  I don't really know how it happened - but perhaps I should try and find someway to craft at a table!!
I think I probably leant on the bone reaching for something being too lazy to get up.... who knows!
Pretty, isn't it!

So, after I have put you all off your breakfast/lunch/dinner/tea (delete as appropriate depending on the time of day!) I will let you get back to Julia's to check out some desks where something interesting is going on!!   Is anyone going to Artstamps Newbury on Saturday - if so, maybe I'll see you there! I have a little list......

Beautiful cards you have there! Sometimes quiet is the best sort, especially if it's what you choose :D.

You did yourself a beaut there. It might be good to figure out how so you can avoid it in the future lol. Happy WOYWW :D

Poor you having a "baddie" as my little grandee calls bruises! It is a baddie and maybe you should use a padded kneeler in future!
Have fun at Newbury, you lucky thing!

Oooh, Helen! That looks like a major owee! You need to be more careful hun. I'd also see the doc about it, unless you tend to bruise easily anyway! Yeah, Mr B Snr is an Everton Supporter as is Brother B, but my Mr B, his Ma and our Livvy are all Liverpool supporters..... LOL

Hi there Helen your comment made me smile.. on my blog that is, not about your poor ole knee and it is nearly teatime here, and you folk are just starting your day over there!! ha funny world.. do love your cards on your sill and the key to successful bruise healing is elevation.. above the heart and also cold compresses of course not fun but good for it alo some Arnica cream if you have any handy!
I am an expert in them as am prone to them myself! cortisone does that o you and clumsiness! love Shaz in oz.x

oh my, that looks nasty! Bruising and a rash sent me on a round of doctors last year that hasn't quit yet! I had pain with mine though...after the fact. I think I would start crafting sitting in a chair somewhere. Vickie #39

Hope it heals soon! And belated happy birthday! Health is what we need at this age so that is what I wish on you!
