WOYWW 851

Here we are again - WOYWW once more... The link can be found at Sarah's

it was a very unproductive weekend's crafting -  I had smooshed some gloss on two tags and then wasn't sure what to do next...

I smooshed some paint using a round brush and a swirly motion on the journal page and then added some white gloss using the end of the spray tube

I like the way the page looks, I might do something else with it....
in an attempt to find something for the page I added paint through this new stencil with a flat brush almost managing not to get the paint under the stencil!!

I really like these pastel paint colours and might have to get the newly released glosses to go with them (I resisted when I bought the stencils recently.

Last week saw the penultimate early entry at Kew, so this week is the final one of the summer (boo, boo,)  and sadly at the moment meant to be wet (still going though)

the recent rain and cooler temperatures meant there were lots of mushrooms all over the place
but we did also find some remnants of summer colour!

Thanks for looking, happy WOYWW and see you soon.

What gorgeous flowers. The colour is beautiful.
Love the first picture from your journal, can see what you mean about the effect and again the colour is gorgeous. Saying that I do like the stencil you used and can understand you wanting more of the glosses to go with them.
Have a good rest of week.

I really like your smooshed pages and the new stencil is a corker, I can see you using that one loads! You’ve done so well with the early starts at Kew, shame they’re nearly over but hopefully they’ll run again next year.

Lovely roses! It must be wonderful to be so near to Kew Gardens that you can go so often! The way we learn what we like and don't like, what works and what doesn't is by playing! You are doing some great playing! I like your new stencil! Have a wonderful week, Lindart #13
