Well, here we are, time for WOYWW again - I was about to wish you all happy new year then realised we'd done that already.... no matter, Sarah will have the linky details for you to join in.
I used the new stamps for my brother's birthday card.I haven't researched or ordered a new machine yet, so that is a job for this weekend and then trying to persuade someone to deliver it and plumb it in bearing in mind I am in an upstairs maisonette...
I do hope everyone is surviving the cold/wet spell and not affected badly by the snow/ice or floods..
Kew on Saturday was cold, but not unbearably so.
the pond was frozenthere were lots of frosty leaves
but the witch hazel provided some much needed colour
Thanks for looking and happy WOYWW . see you soon.

Sorry to hear about the washer but guess they don't last for ever and hope you find one that's just what you're looking for, there's so much choice now. Sending hugs and wishing you a very happy woyww, Angela x7x
The card for your brother is lovely and so appropriate for a man.
Love the Kew photos especially the frozen lake.
Hugs, Neet 8 xx
Oh dear. Bad time to lose the machine - but then, there is never a good one. I love the frosty photos of Kew. Looks magical!
Sneaking in a few before leaving for Drs.

Loved the witch hazel pic. Sorry about the cold and then the washing machine. Hope you are feeling better and that you have found a good machine!
Happy WOYWW! Susan #1
What a pain about the washing machine! Just what you don't need in this weather. I shall say Happy New Year as I didn't make it last week. Hope your cold is better. Have a good week, love and hugs Cindyxx #11
What an absolute pain about the machine…hope you’re managing ok without it and can find a suitable replacement soon. Hope your cold doesn’t develop either, there’s so much going around at the moment. I really love your brother’s card, great colours and the sentiment made me smile!
Hugs LLJ 5 xx
Sorry to hear about your washing machine and hope you get it replaced very soon. I hope the cold goes soon too...so much of it about at the mo.

What a gorgeous card for your brother - I love your new stamps. Sorry to hear about the washing machine - what a nuisance. I hope you get it sorted soon.
Have a good week,

Love the card you made for your brother. Our washing machine is over 30 years old, a guy comes out whenever it goes wrong and it goes on! Apparently there is not a problem with parts, but that might change. Happy WOYWW. Angela #13
What a gorgeous winter themed birthday card Helen, I do love this. Sorry to hear about your washing machine nightmare! These things always have a habit of happening at the worst time. I'm glad you at least managed to get your clothes out. I hope your new one comes soon. Beautiful pictures as always, capturing natures finest moments.Happy WOYWW - Michelle #15
Oh what a delight to find lots of comments when I woke up again this morning. WOYWW is certainly my "constant" at the moment and I thank all you lovely ladies for being there for me, I am blessed.
Sorry to hear about the washing machine, hope you get it sorted soon. Have you tried the Euronics store perchance? I'm struggling with the cold but OK indoors, Kew looked freezing but he frost makes lovely shapes on everything, doesn't it.
Loving the new stamps the cone branch is so lifelike.

Hi, Helen! I absolutely love your Happy Everything card! I just received sentiment stamp set that has that phrase in it. I love how you framed it! Nicely done!
I am so glad you posted the picture of the Witch Hazel. I have so many negative associations with Witch Hazel (grandmother's home remedies when I was a child) that I had forgotten how pretty the actual plant is.
Sorry to hear about the washer! Been there done that, got the t-shirt and the hat! Good luck with your repair or replacement. I pray neither is super expensive!
Hugz,

Happy New Year girlfriend! Sorry about the washing machine...what a pain, it's amazing how fast the damn washing piles up when you're without, we changed out heating filament thing with the aid of you tube...it was horribly limescaled!
I love the text styles of the sentiment on your bro's card, v nice and a lovely idea for a wintry birthday.....I might have to lift. Although I'm not sure if he'll even notice! Int the witch Hazel pretty, I'm cosnisdering adding one to my garden, so will have to research, it's such a nice colour for winter and if there's anything lacking in my little garden, it's colour. Mud and green is about the max!
That’s a beautiful birthday card for your brother. I wonder if you could call someone out to replace the washing machine heating element? We get our white goods from a local Euronics supplier and they’re good for repairs.
Your Kew pictures are beautiful- it’s so good to see the colour of the witch hazel.
Happy WOYWW

Oh I do hope you can get your washer sorted. We rely on these things so much. Your card is fab as is the photo of the hazel at Kew. Keep cosy and stay safe.x x Jo 🌈
love the card, and witch hazel is such a gift in the winter! robyn 18
Love, love, love the birthday card for your brother Helen. Hope it's not too much hassle getting a washing machine sorted. Feel better soon. Looks like it will be the 10th as people don't like the idea of travelling at the BH. Stay safe and Happy WOYWW Sarah
