It doesn't seem 5 minutes since we were here last week gathering for WOYWW - but it is time again!
the sofa became the workdesk on Saturday; Christmas card writing....they're now in the post and will hopefully be arriving at their destinations soon.
as a reward to myself and an anti-dote to Christmas cards, I finished the journal page...
it was good to do something non Christmas related craftwise!
Kew was cancelled due to the threat of damage from storm Darragh, and it was mighty windy but thankfully where I am escaped heavy rain and the worst of the strong winds.
I took the plunge and went Christmas shopping on Saturday morning instead...
I was partly successful but still need to get some bits for my brother and his wife...
It's the office Christmas party on Friday (yes, the 13th.... it was the date most people could do... what could possibly go wrong!?) so I will hope to get a good walk at Kew to recover!

Happy WOYWW - pop the kettle on, do!

First of all enjoy the Christmas Party at work, am sure it will be a lucky 13th for a change. Will we see photos?
Isn't it nice to see the last of the cards go in the mail?
I've just my 'special' card to hand deliver and am making another one for myself so I remember it better than a photo (ie how to make again). A bit of paper engineering from me,

Well done on the Christmas cards Helen. Enjoy the party!!! Great journal page. Stay safe and Happy WOYWW. Sarah
Just popped in to wish you (early) Happy Christmas Helen and enjoy the Christmas party. Not had too much blog time lately, too many poorly dogs and vet visits.
But Arne's boys are brining joy.

Enjoy your Friday party! Thanks lots for your lovely little card. We are going on a little shopping trip today so that will be fun. I love the blue/ greens on your journal page. x x Jo 🌈
Hooray to getting the Christmas cards done, I’m pretty much there now as well. It was good to get a bit of non festive crafting in, love the colours! I hope that there were no tree losses at Kew, there were loads brought down in the storm around me last weekend, the tree surgeons have been busy!

Loving the card collection and bet you're pleased they're done. Hope the party goes well too. I can understand them closing Kew it was very windy but there will be another day. Happy woyww with hugs, Angela x11x
What lovely cards. I love the journal page and like you I am also doing some non-Christmas stuff as I find all this festive cheer can be a bit overwhelming at times! Enjoy your Christmas party and let's hope Kew is back to business as usual at the weekend.
Happy WOYWW,

Well done on getting your cards in the post- I am a little behind, but hopefully ready tomorrow. I am glad those winds passed you by. Happy WOYWW. Angela #12
The cards look great! Good job on getting them finished. I am still working on mine and need to hurry so they arrive in time for Christmas. I just had my kitchen cabinets painted which caused me to have to take a break from all my craft projects. Fingers crossed I can get them out this week!
