WOYWW 740

With a flash it's Wednesday again and time to meet for WOYWW .

The weather last Saturday was such that my mate Kim and I decided to leave Kew until Sunday so there was time to play on Saturday.

I'd been watching You Tube and some of Dina's videos and decided to decorate some tags that had been started months ago.
I don't have a sewing machine so used a pokey tool to make some holes to join the tags together with ribbon
we start with the covers

I wasn't going to take individual photos
but I can't work out how to load the video I took on my phone  - or at least make it play!

Sunday saw the sun come out and it was Kew time...just beautiful!

there'd have been none of these illuminated petals on Saturday
love the patterns on this leaf.

thanks for looking, and I will be along to catch up soon.

I LOVE the tag book. One of the teachers of the Collage Fodder freebie classed did a similar tag book. I love how you attached yours. I see not having a sewing machine didn't slow you down at all,

To upload the video, you MUST be in html view, not compose view. I haven't even started my post yet, so I will see you later tonight (for me).

Your little tag book is lovely but I had a moments panic at the thought of not having a sewing machine - can you imagine what Annie and I would do without one! LoL each to his own.😀So glad you had a sunny day at Kew - fab photos. x x Jo

I always love a tag book - so fun. I did one from Fodder School that was easy to make, like B&E did and am working on another fodder keeper but trying NOT to use my in-need-of-repair sewing machine. Challenging! Kew looks fab and that leaf would make a great gel print :D
Happy desk-hopping day!

The tag book looks brilliant what a great idea, well done. It's better than having them sitting around. Love the photos especially those leaves, great texture too. Wishing you a very happy and creative woyww. Hugs, Angela x11x

Your tag book looks good Helen, what I can see of it. Internet is terrible (had to go down to reception with my computer at 6.30 this morning to upload) and I can only see two pages and a bit of a flower photo now but surprisingly the comment box is here so I am making the most of it.
Here's to a good week ahead for you with good weather for kew.
Hugs, Neet 5 xx

I love the tags! I used to do a lot of tags but seemed to get away from them as I just making greeting cards with flowers for Heartfelt Creations! I must get back to my tags!

Thanks for your visit and I love your tag book..fun desgins you've made.
Awesome colors on the foliage We could use more rain here It's a hit and miss and so many farming fields/flowers/fruit trees/gardens are in bad shape all over this USA. Enjoy a great week, they seem to fly by.

Good morning, Helen

Neat tag book. I have 3 sewing machines and seldom take the time to get out the paper machine. Currently, I'm using my sewing cabinet top for the laptop. Pokey Tools are great for binding those books.

That leaf is amazing! Love it!
Creative Blessings!

Super Tag Book. Pokey tool and and ribbon works for me. The Fodder challenge one even used a used a stapler (the middle pages were double but had pockets where the tags were joined together). I have silhouettes on mine too so really must try the writing on one it looks great. Yes the art/craft shop above Gallery Gifts essentially closed at the end of July but they are still selling off stuff. Very sad. Me and the lady behind me going up the stairs exclaimed as we reached the top. Hadn't seen the notice outside either. I'm going to Epsom next.... Hugs BJ#7

Love that leaf, what a great contrast . Your tag book is great, I was looking at those head and shoulders stencils earlier and some paper doll stencils at Megan somebody on Etsy. The writing looks great on yours. Angela #21
