And whizzzzzz  it's Wednesday again, which can only mean one thing... it's time for WOYWW - all the details at Julia's
I don't mean to boast.... but I think (apart from some special ones)  .....I have finished my Christmas cards!
I went back to the Paperartsy stamps by Sara Naumann and batch stamped another load of images

this was the work of an hour during Sunday's service for Remembrance Sunday at the Cenotaph, I always watch it on tv

I used a few different colours - mostly distress oxides

cut them up and layered them on to card blanks

22 more cards..

bish bash bosh!

I also had a play in the journal... as a reward!

it's so nearly the end of the book I am itching to start another one

spread some blobs of paint with an old credit card  and then dripped some distress oxide sprays and spread them with the card

stamped the Dina Wakley images with archival inks on both sides of the pages.  Was so wanting to use those stamps they've been sat here weeks!

the page isn't finished yet, it needs text of some kind and some more background stamping of some sort.

Didn't get wet at Kew last weekend!!  Left just as it started to drizzle... Pics here  had fog, sun, and a lovely time!     this was the view of the river as I walked across Kew Bridge !

That's it from me, happy desk snooping day!

Morning Helen. Well done on finishing your cards! I always breathe out when I get to that point. Over the years the list grows and shrinks, grows and shrinks, doesn't it, as new friends are added, and some are removed because of death... but it's still a lot to make. You really met with the fog last weekend at Kew!!
Take care. God bless.

Love your foggy photo!
well done on the "C" card front - once you set your mind to it you are away - took me an hour to do the bits for mine and now I reckon another two to three before they are done - and that will be 16!

I think you have every right to feel smug! Well done on the Christmas card front, they do look good. It's funny but I do the same thing, if I've completed a task which I found a bit boring, I reward myself with something fun too!!

Good for you Helen, if you've finished your cards you have every right to boast, but you have created a hint of panic in me as I realise how quickly we are heading towards Decmeber - I think I need to kick myself up the proverbial quite soon!
Your foggy photo is beautiful and I love the journal pages, gorgeous colours.
Have a great week,

Ok, you’re finished with christmas cards. I may not talk to you for a minute. Nice stamps aren’t they! Amazing to me how the micro ness of the climate can be so localised..your pictures this weekend dont show any of the fog that you experienced crossing the bridge..incredible how the water attracts it like that.

Gosh it looks very misty - so mysterious and atmospheric - all you need is Sherlock Holmes arriving on the scene (I don't know why I said that LOL!) Lovely play in your journal - funny how you reward yourself for the hard work of cardmaking! But I know what you mean! Have a lovely rest of the week and thanks for stopping by earlier. Sorry I'm a bit late returning - I had some urgent pouring to do LOL. I hope it's not turning into an obsession! xx zsuzsa #20

Gorgeous cards, Helen. The stamped images are lovely. That's a real pea souper in your photo. Here in the coast we get a lot of mists but I can't remember there being one as thick as that for years. Elizabeth x #21

Oh Helen, those Christmas cards look lovely and I need something 'fast and furious' to create my cards - yours are wonderful and I might end up with stamping a bunch of cards like you did, thanks for the inspiration! Happy woyww and have a lovely week/weekend. Hug from Holland, Marit #4

Thank you for your comment and my sympathies for your friend. I think we are feeling the shock hard to bear as my sister and I spoke to him a couple days before.

Well done with all your Christmas cards x

Hi Helen, ooh what a cool stack of Cards you have created :) I love the foggy shot. ( its so dry here there are still forest fires burning in the state below us) so, its always interesting to see other people's nature shots to me. ~Stacy #28
