WOYWW 438 more impulse shopping...

Hi, welcome back deskers - amazingly time for another What's On Your Workdesk? Wednesday ... the cold came and has nearly gone, still quite bunged up and coughing a lot, but I haven't felt ill at all and managed Kew on Saturday again (here)  if you have time or the inclination,

But impulse shopping... well yes.   Sue from Artist Trading Post put a post on Facebook about new stamps and new Scrapinek chipboard... so it would have been rude not to investigate, right?
(Ordered on Sunday, despatched on Monday, received on Tuesday.... brilliant!! )

a row of skulls (Carabelle Studio stamps..) love these-  even though I don't "do" Hallowe'en, but there were fab.... and the chipboard pieces... and a bottle of black Ecoline ink, mainly to bulk it up to  qualify for free P&P...

Now of course I should be making Christmas cards, never mind anything else, but I haven't done a thing.  And somehow, it's the end of October next week, not a card in sight.... maybe I'll buy them this year!!

Glad you all liked the boots (I bought - more kind of impulse shopping - a skirt and jumper that would go well with them on Sunday!)  I have to say they are very comfy (only do flats these days!)

Ok, that is me this week, will allow you to get on and visit some more desks, Julia is waiting for you....

Are we going to get a photo of the whole outfit? Pretty please. Love looking at what you buy be it stamping or fashion.
Have a great week.

You do clothes really well, unlike me who just throws things on! We do need a whole outfit shot :-D. Glad you're on the mend after your cold!

Pleased your feeling better. I don't call an outfit-to-go-with-boots an impulse buy, more a necessity .....I envisage heather colours .....
Do share.
Continue healing. Have a good week

Ooh love the skulls stamp, and I'm a big fan of Scrapiniec - I have some lovely foliage pieces that I will get round to using one day! Now we've seen the boots I think we ought to see the whole outfit!
Glad you are nearly over the sniffles,
Have a great week,

Happy WOYWW. I always love to see what stash you have bought - if I had the funds and a very large craft room, then I think I would be buying similar too. Ali x #20

There's not a X-mas card in side on my desk too... it's an annual thing to decide NOT to make them and then somewhere in December suddenly get an urge and go wild on making cards after all, ha! I love the things you bought... and am curious to see your whole outfit. I don't wear heels much either, due to the 'cobblestones' that this city has for a pavement. (and I guess it's also an 'age-thing' to prefer the comfort of walking on flat boots.) Have fun creating with your new stuff, happy woyww and a hug from Holland, Marit #17

I think what you could really do with buying is a bigger house to put all your stuff in LOL! Great chipboard and glad you are feeling OK despite the cold. Flow, Flashes, Foot, whatever next! Thanks for the visit BJ#5.

Hi Helen...OF COURSE, you had to check all the goodies out! LOL I love all that chipboard! I don't have enough chipboard and really need to up my stash as well! Like you, I don't do "Halloween," but those skulls are pretty cool and I can see a lot of projects coming out of them! Glad your cold is nearly gone and hope it stays away for good! I don't normally do Halloween either but because of the kids and their families I do have to send cards. They tend to be cute, not scary.
As to the skirt and jumper, hmmm, sounds like time for a fashion show... LOL!
Thanks for stopping by and have a great week!

The detailing on the skulls looks amazing Helen :) ooh that is a very fast turn around too. On the years that I say maybe I will buy them, I end up scrambling at last minute to make them... I mean just in case an idea happens between now and when you need to mail them out. ~Stacy #25

Wow - those chipboards do look great - I love the Scrapiniec line, but I've mostly got wispily delicate wildlflowers of course! And those skulls are just magnificent - definitely not just for Halloween - looking forward to seeing them in action.
