WOYWW 418

Happy Wednesday deskers - you know the ritual.. Link here click, drool at desks  and comment...

I am going to be really short and sweet today, as I don't have a lot to share.. my WOYWW anniversary atc arrived safely last Thursday from Elizabeth and Bleubeard, in double quick time from the States..  I knew immediately what the envelope was as it was covered in her trademark rocking horse stamp!
It came wrapped in some gorgeous purple handmade paper

here's a close up

I was going to stop there, but decided to add a couple of journal pages -
I have added a little to the page from last week...  intensified the colours in the circles, added some stamping and some texture paste stencilled splatters.  re-purposed some washi tape that had come wrapped round an order a few weeks ago

It's still not finished!

and finally...  no words needed
I love London and the dreadful attack won't stop me visiting, exploring and photographing..

Have a good week.
Last week's Kew trip here (yes, again!)

I'm glad you shared this. I haven't heard from Julia, but I'm going to share the ATCs I made for WOYWW 8 on my blog tonight. I don't have the post up yet, so obviously no number.

I was glad to read you will NOT be deterred by the attacks this last weekend in London. I was REALLY worried about you, because it showed trains and I know you take them. Have a great WOYWW.

That is a lovely ATC. The post seems very quick from abroad (I received my ATC from Australia last weekend) and yet so often items sent within the UK seem to take ages. Happy WOYWW Sarah #8

Lovely ATC, like the post system here in Spain things get to other people quicker than I receive them. A letter can get to the UK in two days. Love the London page so awful what happened again in such a short space of time.

Sharing our crafty love around the globe is one of our best times - so many clever crafters out there and all made with that same love - we need to spread it round the globe ever more so. xx Jo

Happy WOYWW. I love that purple paper. Have you got plans for it? Life in the UK continues to be more difficult than it should be. Not looking forward to the General Election tomorrow (we do postal votes, so at least I haven't got to venture out in the rain tomorrow!). Ali x #29

Proof if it were needed that my desk, my chair side table and the box I keep mail in....all a shambles. I did get your atc gal, and thank you for it....it is now with the others after being hooked out from the horror! Your journal entry is wonderful...no words needed, indeed.
Love Elizabeth's home made paper, bet that ends up in your journal in some way!

Fabulous post,
Sorry for the delay in commenting, laptop trouble. It's died on me and I'm in a bit of a flap.
On a positive note, my Dear Husband plans to buy a replacement for me.
